should be quite hard as normally it is caused by you hitting against a wall or dropping the bike.

unless the chip is at a position that is unlikely to be hit against the wall or dropped, plus you argue well with the hong leong people..

 

anyway...

motovation sliders priced the same. one guy brings it in and he is lurking somewhere in these forum too, cant remember his nick though.

 

Price is about 300 plus, a bit pricey for 07 cos of the aluminium mounting needed for the frame sliders. There are cheaper versions like Shogun at motoworld.
