For those who have gotten your 08 models, what colour is your fork?

 

How come the ones in Bike Prod are having black forks? Shouldn't it be gold? I saw the black R1 with black forks at Bike Prod.

 

Or is it because we are getting ours from europe, thus its black forks?

i just bought a 2008 gsx-r1000 n i want 2 change the pipe.. but i want 2 noe which pipe is the best...

2) Kawasaki KRR 150 -> Feb 05 to Dec 06

3) Honda Super4 Vtec3 -> Dec 06 to Nov 07

4) Yamaha RXZ 135 -> Nov 07 to Dec 08

5) Suzuki GSX-R1000 K8 -> Dec 07 to Mar 10

6) Yamaha R6 06 -> Mar 10 to Currently

how do you know stock pipe not the best? hahaha. Well, how to say la bro...one person will say pipe A best...another will say pipe B...some will say pipe A+B...Lol. Just joking :angel:

 

If u looking for full system now only Leo Vince and Yoshi has it. Saw both before. But the yoshi dunno how many they bring in...that time only has one CF set...think i was talking to Fauzi last month when he showed me. But if u dun mind price...can get akra...y-pipe plus muffs approved...after inspection can fix header also if u want.

Anywae juz wan to share my experience, my current k7 can go 220km before hitting reserve.

 

Due to some factors , it depends how ur riding style too

2002 - 2003 Yahama Tzr 125 (FH1687Z)

2003 - 2005 Honda Sp 150 (FR9672K)

2005 - 2007 Honda Cbr FireBlade 400 (FN543E)

2007 - 2010 Suzuki Gsx-R K7 1000 (AU222D)

2010 - 2011 Honda Civic FD2 (S*******)

loois motor also have but have to make appt with meng tong first as he is usually too busy...

these past few weeks, mine also hitting 220 before reserve... used to be 200 reserve liau... don't know why.

 

Previously, i always changed gear at rpm below 4000... thinking of saving petrol. Then, i give up liau.

 

Now, I change between 4000 and 5000 rpm. Suprisingly, better fuel consumption.

 

Yet again, it may be something wrong with the bike. I really don't know...

btw, met a nice chap who has already ordered his yoshi slipon only...but havent get his k8 yet so must wait till he get bike then can hear.

Bro...cant compare like that...different specs already...even k4 and k5 got different specs...different specs different bike performance/behaviour/properties already...

i think 220km b4 reserve is v. good for 1000cc.

So probably can get abt 260-270km tilll dry

j73 can tell mi where is ur work shop ?? hmm i have been ridding for 10 months plus if i do tuning now still can ?? And if i wan to do tuning go the shop tell the mech can liao ar ??? And wat should i look out for ?? Pai seh ar i got alot of questions . :cheeky:

95 has more energy hence better mileage.

in sg, sound fast look fast is enough. run fast fine fast die fast.
