Anyone encounter any problem with their rectifier/magnetic coil ?

 

I just burnt mine. F***ing shitty K7. My group has got 3 K7 600 and 2 of

 

us(including me) was hit by this ****. And i was told

 

by my mech this was quite a common problem with K7. As for true or not,

 

I'm not too sure either. The symptoms are, weak cranking/dim lighting/gear

 

indicator not working. Total cost should be around 500 bucks. Stupid Suzzy.

i had dim/flickering lighting for whole bike, ie meter, headlights, taillights, etc.. , followed by meter light and headlight not working.., then indicator light.. you can ask your mechanic to check your wiring first.. then the battery, rectifier and lastly the coil..

i solved mine last night, and everything is back to normal, after some hours of going through the wirings..

Thought everything was alright. But after a ride to sengkang and back to tampines, halfway through engine stalled. Luckily already reach tampines,

if not i'm dead. Now my bike couldn't start at all. Not even any cranking sound

when i tried starting the bike.

 

So what do u suggest ? I doubt it is the wiring.

maybe you can check the rectifier/charger first, before opening up for the coil.. hopefully it's just the rectifier since it's much more cheaper than the coil..

I was the one riding the red/white k7 with a r1/r6 friend.

Yar can push start. But i can only ride for a short distance and

the engine will just cut off. Afraid that it might damage the engine

or smthg, i choose to push my bike... :giddy:

i was bored that day and came to know about the outing the other group organised, so just join them for the first time.. then also realise this thread was also having an outing for the incredible hulk too, but i couldn't contact any of you guys.. so i ended up joining that group..
