On close-up, i tink the stock black R1-2009 looks ugly in one of the vids in the links.

I dun know heard from who, maybe the bike shop, our bikes trade in value not veri high, for instance, my bike if i trade in for Ducati 999, they only take in 16k.

Just got a like-new bagster tankbra n gilles tooling rearset from 2 guys in sbf. Great condition n nice stuffs. Waitin for my crg levers to reach sgp n I'll take some pics of my dirty bike n show u guys how ugly my bike is.

When i was in bike shop last time, the bosses gave us a certain formula to finnd out a bike depreciation value as the years go by. A lot of shops follow this standard formula as far as i know it. But starting 09 onwards, there maybe some changes due to Japan side marking up the value of the new bikes. So 09 onwards may not be a good time to buy new bike..

 

As for 2nd hand bikes, the depreciation will be only be a bit lower... thats why i was shocked when the shop took in 10.5K oni... the value drop to about half already within 2 years...

bro shark.. dun need to wait for 2009, jus went to bike shop to recce super 4 revo.. all the current stock bikes in sg price remain the same.. but if order extra 1000+ coz of jap currency.. all japs bike affected..

hhhmmm.....if u have try the shorty then no problem, for me the shorty not comfy enough ....i prefer the standard length lever.....sometimes i still use my 4 finger to clutch in....
