i dun think they steal levers bro...these farkers usually steal the whole assembly. i know we are told to do our part by protecting our properties as much as we can...but im wondering if the garmen has or is going to come up with sumthing to help the public out. tho, it'll prolly gonna be considered "low priority" o_O

and btw , anybody using the exhaust protector ? like a condom ring in blue yellow or red colours . any reviews of it ?

i think i know wat u talking of, exhaust slider, mine is black colour.

Exhaust Slider- APA Muffler Slider is made from a specially formulated thick, tough, plastic material that resists wear and helps protect your muffler in the event of a crash, much like a frame slider does.

The slider clamps on securely and the material has built in lubrication molecules that let them slide and not grip the pavement like a soft piece of rubber would.

Road Racers are enjoying the benefits of Muffler Slider protection when they fall off. It can not easily slide off.

i got one extra one which i wanna sell.

my sentiments exactly....sumtimes it seems the country likes helping the world more than its ppl...this is not in the context of riders n theft only...as in general. it's more of the ppl need to help the ppl...how many fund raising shows do we have on teevee in a year. and just when we ask for small requests it seem so insignificant. heh, well some wud say...there are bigger things in life to deal with...who are we to argue

we are just 3rd class sillyporeans

dun underestimate them bro...last time there's alot of these cases...and it died off alittle...now i think it's back in operation. think it's best to cover our bikes at night and armed it. better be safer than frustrated. why safer? cos there's been cases where they cut the canvas or bypass the alarm...dun ask me how it works out...cos im not a thief...but yea, let's try our best to prevent or make it difficult and/or slow for them to operate. may god bless us all

in my opinion, it makes very negligible difference. altho it takes away that small seconds of timing lagness...u cant really feel outstanding peak acceleration or anything of such. in fact, without the timing retard, it kinda removes the safety feature...which sudden extreme peaky acceleration may cause wheel spin. in my opinion, i wud spend such amount of money on clutch springs which wud really make a difference.

this is based only on my observation and research, since i myself installed a gipro...which is not that useful to me other than the big gear indicator that i find useful :thumb:

since we're on the topic of security..

any recommendations on alarm?

there's a SPY 2 way alarm going for approx $140 on the MO section..

anyone uses it?

and will the alarm drain ur batt fast?

since it will chirp & flash the headlights every now n then..
