under the rider seat u mean ....

 

mostly could be the battery lah ... is yours the wet or dry cell ....

 

If wet cell check for the water level .... if dry cell then could be time for a change :cheeky:

My 02 R1 also very hot. If travelling on normal roads, the temperature will be in the range of 98-104 degrees. When it reaches 104 degrees, the fan will start spinning. Along the expressways, the temperature will be around 85-90 degrees. Now my bike problematic also. Once the temperature reaches above 100 degrees, the idling will become erratic and the engine dies on me. Anyone has any idea why??? :confused:

u sent it to the bikeshop already? if the engine only dies off when it is hot could be that your oil seal is not good liao ....

When Sporting was still carrying it, it was way cheaper as compared to Motoworld now..

 

Fortunately, i got my BMC race air filter for $120 @ Sporting(They were holding the last piece)..

Yup, I sent my bike to Unity and Ah Siong serviced my fuel injectors and the idling for me. Bike running OK now except for the engine dying off when the temperature rises to above 100 degrees... :sian:
