was also on PM with a dude tImeMac or something like that... he's got a 1996 Carb SRAD... but he kena sting by V-twin bug.... nothing wrong with it except that people trying to sell him TLR at very high prices.. so advised him to check carefully.... especially prices

i did not witness the meter itself. its just wat he told me. he reached 299 couple of times as wat he informed. so far u haven heard any r606 reached 299?

It is impossible for a 600 to reach 299. The most only 280+.

299km/hr for 06R6. Is this going to get a lot attention. Mind if you organise a outting with your friend, i like to go see that 06R6. it even better than a 1000cc bike, cheaper rd tax, insurance and still can hit 299km/hr

But I never doubt it powerful midrange. Personnally I have rode 06 R6 before and compared it with my 750. I would say it powerband is either same or better than a 750. Simply an amazing bike. Or you could say the new 600/750 is a bit disappointing. But to hit 299 is impossible. A 600 will start losing it power ard 260kph. So it basically depending on slope and wind factor to bring the speed up. 280+ is most that I've heard of, but definately not 299.
