The 02 model you referring to is carb/non led or efi/led?

i think she was confused by the model no and the registration date of the bikes.

For led/EFI, there is 02 & 03 .... For 01 models, its carb with 2 tail-lights :cheeky:

What say u

from OldTree998's explaination, regardless u change to BMC or K&N u need to retune your air/fuel mixture as the air intake is better and more compared to stock ones. Therefore the pickup will be sluggish but once above 3 or 4k RPM should be ok liao ...

so i dun change? then retune need to look for any one specific to do? and how much and how long will it take?

best is to call insurance companies for quotations ....

it also depends if u got ncd(no claim discount) that means u didn't do any claim form the ins company that u were covered by, likewise, pls check with them and ur new ins company that will be insuring you for ur bike..:thumb:

for the most simple mod to enhance your bike's performance and fuel consumption will be to add a pc3 for 02 model onwards, KENSO jet (cost around 300++ excluding installation); slip on end can and aftermarket air filter ...

think you should try riding it for a while then try feel it pros and cons of it frst..and start upgrading parts only if ur bikes really needs it for what purpose..i'm riding an 03, not a frequent tracker(nvr been there b4 too), i didn't improve mush to increase performance of my bike ma..improve only what i think is needed..but if you are really rich than i got nothing to say le:sweat:

well depends on whether u are those performance orientated rider or not ....

But must also see what air filter u using now. If stock just use stock first. If u intend to change to aftermarket ones best is do it together when u got your slip on and pc3.

tuning price will have to check with the shop that u intend to do tuning with, but for the best air/fuel mixture, u MUST use a dyno machine. Overall, tuning takes about 2-3 hours ....
