bro, this video out for quite a while liao... speculation have been in the air for a long time. but yes, if theres a tmax750, its gonna be really cool.

Woooo..... heard rumors about it some time back.

yeah, maybe got chance at http://rmreview.com.my/2010-yamaha-tmax-750cc-concept-scooter/ since 2011 is a hot year for new bikes be facelift or new releases. Every make just wanna a piece of the biking market!

There are rumors about the increased capacity of YAMAHA TMax from 500cc to new 750cc but the latter has come together with drawings and patents registered by Yamaha in Japan . Yamaha has started projects for a three cylinder engine for a new development on its sports T-Max 500 scooter. The new Yamaha scooter would then be called T-Max 750 and could be ready for presentation come autumn. Production and sales are planned for the end of 2010. The images in this post are from designer J.M Guerin with improved front end (from R6) and the final Yamaha.

2010 YAMAHA TMAX 750CC CONCEPT SCOOTER

The development is taking place on the current engine base: the T-Max 500 cc twin cylinder, with a third piston rod with anti-vibration function. That third rod would subsequently make way for a full-blown third cylinder, increasing power to 750cc. With the necessary modifications, the new three cylinder engine would be integrated onto the scooter with no problems, while the final transmission would be strengthened to match the greater power output.

Yamaha 3-cylinder scooter T-Max 750, which will become competitor to the Gilera GP800.

Engine capacity of 750 sm.kub. the addition of 3 cylinder to the 500-cubic power unit model T-Max 500. Tranmission and the suspension will be finalized in the light of a more powerful engine.

Needless to say that since the introduction in 2000 the Yamaha T-Max is the benchmark in its segment of the automatic scooter and motorcycles. Only the birth of mammoth Gilera GP800 last year questioned his reign. Yamaha reacted with the renewal of the T-Max in 2009, but the movement may have been right and need to increase capacity .

For the trade press has always believed that the outstanding chassis of the T-Max could host more than a 500 cc two-cylinder, so the rumors about a scooter more cylinders have sounded for years. The current engine is in third crankpin on the crankshaft that drives a counter and could mount rod in third place. Although it seems that Yamaha finally do something similar, but differently, with a completely new engine that preserves the architecture so successful that he gave his 500 but with more and a cylinder with a balance shaft counterweight instead of, as can shown in the drawings of Japanese patent to which we had access.

This “triple” online will be compact like the present to be mounted on the chassis and rear suspension wear “real” and mount an automatically operated multi-plate clutch (reason for the smoothness and effectiveness of the T-Max 500) and drive continuous reinforced.

so no info yet so far, wait till end of 2010 for official launch
