hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.................

i can see a problem with that in summer. I've got mates who ride 04 CBR600RRs and they do mention that it gets a bit warm in summer and late spring. BUT i bet it'd be lovely in Winter and autumn :D i love nothing better than stripping off my gloves and putting my hands near the opening of the microns everytime after a ride nowadays.

but i suppose riding in sub degree temperatures kinda does that to you... i think i'd like a bike with an underseat exhaust purely for that reason ehehehe.

:cheeky:

Those 04/05 R1 riders I chatted with too said that the bike feels lovely in winter. It warms up their asses and they ride, warm as toast during the winter. :cheeky: :btw: they also said that they do not feel the heat when riding in full leather suits. With jeans on, they feel it. I wouldn't want to be riding in fullsuit everyday in Singapore. My butt will not be hot but I'll be sweating like hell in the suit... :giddy: :faint:

First learn stand, then learn fly. Nature's rules biker-sans. Not mine...

ahahahahaha true true.

I htink what a lot of people don't understand is that Singapore is in the tropics. over here (Aust) and a lot of places in the US, summer (although it might reach all the way up to 48-50 degrees celcius) is often a type of dry heat (the type that own't make you sweat much, just zap you of energy).

you can almost taste the bitter dust and heat on the wind, that's how bad it is. BUT! it makes riding leathers merely uncomfortable, although sweating is not overly a problem because it dries your moisture up.

that's why even in summer, quite a lot of riders still wear full leather when riding. safety issue too.

Sg only have a 03 version, nobody import 06 coz of the EURO price is high. 03 version has no windscreen n no digital meter. u can try looi's motor, they have 2 pieces left i think (03)version.

er guys..about heights for bikes.. im only 162(ht) weight (50)...which one is more suitable..? but im tinking to get a r6 06..

I'm around ur size & weight.

IMHO, if u mostly ride SG, then any 400 & 600 bike's more than enough. If frequent MY roads, then 750 or litre bike's best. If often track, then either 600 or litre bike's great!

R606 - can call up almost any shop to ask price. If you want the limited edition yellow R606, then Mah Motor.

i had went to yahama's web to take a look at the specs of R6. the ride height is 850mm. haf u lower dn the suspension yet? i am tinkin of getting R6 but if u had already lower the suspension, it will be a challange for a 165cm me. :weep: :weep: :weep:

i was thinking ......

for a new class 2 bike is above 18k already

how u guys dun feel the pain abt paying installment evry mth?

normally is 5yrs right?? even 5yrs installement also ard 400$

then plus fuel, servicing ? than come insurance and road tax.

pls dun flame me i am jus curious ..

its not that painful actually, shld be managable.

It hurts the pocket alot more if u intend to buy a performance car like a rex. Keeping it stock with a 10% downpayment, u'll still end up paying close to 2k on everything just on the car itself.. Most of my friends end up sacrifising their holiday, comfort just to maintain his beast.

or maybe warmest sportsbike?

1. GSX-R 600

2. YZF-R6

3. ZXR6 636

4. ZZ6-R (don't know if ZX6-R and ZZR600 is the same bike or not)

5. Triumph Daytona 675 (it's a rare bike!)

6. CBR 600 RR

Please include the year of the bike.

And which one is the coolest? Temperature hor.. not chio chio (coolest) bike. Ya.. also remember to include the temperature of it, if not, just state which bike you feel is the hottest. You can also put down the temperature of the bike without a comparison to other bikes. As the list of temperature build up, everyone will be able to compare it.

Stating your riding style, and riding conditions is a MUST. ~O.O~

e.g. hard pickup, in traffic jams most of the time, etc. (i'm sure you can think of it)

Lastly, let me know if I missed out any! arigatou.. http://a.deviantart.com/avatars/r/a/raynex3.gif
