Hi Cyclop, can u advise me what model is the small round light at the extreme right side of the picture. Looks garang and u know where avaliable in Singapore?

Saw some catalogues before and was told that PIAA makes something like that as a pair and they are being mounted below the main headlight for the K series bikes.

Curious.........

This should be the one:

HID (Xenon) Aux Light R1150GS, Left side

Part Number: 040-1503

They have a Halogen version at a much lower cost. If I'm not mistaken, Hella should be the OEM.

?? where to get in Sin

K&N is very easy to clean my friend. DIY is the best coz shops will shortcut the cleaning process by using petrol (dries in 30mins). They will tell you that its ok yada yada (K&N States NO petrol to be used). If you have the recharger kit, then follow the instructions as stated. It takes a day to dry IF you follow the standard procedures. Shops usually dun have the time to do it following the standard procedures. If you are in a rush to use the bike and cannot wait for it to dry, then get a OEM paper filter to use while the K&N is drying (So dun throw away your old filter, using it for 1 day will not kill your bike). Swap it out when the K&N has dried and oiled. Keep the OEM filter for your next K&N cleaning.

On the GS, you only need to remove the seat and 2 screws securing the airbox cover. Can't get any easier than that right?

I'm not too sure with the R1100S. More fairings to remove I think. But hoses???

Its Water resistant to IEC 60529 IPX7 standards (submersible in one meter of water for 30 minutes)

As to what is IEC 60529 IPX7 standard:

Most newer Garmin® GPS units are waterproof in accordance with IEC 60529 IPX7. IEC 60529 is a European system of test specification standards for classifying the degrees of protection provided by the enclosures of electrical equipment. An IPX7 designation means the GPS case can withstand accidental immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. An IPX8 designation is for continuous underwater use.
