 Riding makes one feel younger hee hee wouldn't mind bringing my rickety bones on dirt track at old age.

Oh, I read the profile of some dirt riders, handful of them are actually above 30-ish, so it never too old to start.

In the show "DUST TO GLORY", 1 of the Baja 1000 racer is 64 yrs old, former Baja Champion in the 70s - 80s. He is not slower than the younger riders that are half his age.

I think "DUST TO GLORY" is the most touching documentary show (especially on race). The director focus alot on human behaviour, their thoughts and etc... than the race itself and how people are devoted to Baja1000. Just imagine, the 1st price for the winner is only 4000grand and some actually work for free just to get involve in the Baja1000.

Any good show on Paris Dakar race to recommend?

Anybody got friends in Europe? Eurosport's running a daily 1hr roundup of the event. Can tape and send it over. Dakar starts 31 Dec 05.

hi bro's...gotta something to ask abt gs1150 clutch plates...any1 here using th t-tech ceramic plates?

how u find using the ceramic and the stock plates...which is better?any problems wif the machine?

i hope u guys can give me the pro's and con's on this..as i m thinking which on to get for my bike...

touratech clutch plate too ex...$800+ original is only $250+.

touratech bites a little slower and further...but last longer if u always ride small road and off road at SG. if its always highway...no point...i prefer the softer original fibre clutch plate. bites good and can last for about 150,000km..est.

my 1150GS using original clutch plate since day one and its 130k now and no slippage

two days ago? if its on friday...i rode from jurong to pml in the wet morning for my tire change and final drive seal check. bike is still there due to replacment of minor leaky seal.

yes...pml charge about 2k for clutch replacement. its due to the labour and other spares involve. clutch plate is cheap....but still must replace other seal and bearings cause they basically remove your bike's entire rear...wheel, final drive, shaft, sub frame, gearbox. now...imagine how much labour, seals and gasket thats gonna cost?

ktkt! havent seen u go trail for so long....now wanna buy GS?

1150GS are good buys now. 2000-2004. price from $13k to $28k depending on age and condition.

But good luck finding one thats in tip top condition cause most owner relectant to let go due to the reason....1200GS cost $40K!!!

2006 adventurer as in the KTM adv?

Refering to the BMW R1200GS Adventure model.

How's the maintainance interval like for ur baby? (congrats btw. )

Would love to ride up to Malaysia,Thailand, China and to Tibet and back perhaps next year or next next year. Don't think the Ducati suited for off-road action.

Trailing.... Seldom trail as often as I would love to nowadays partially of work, and also waning passion. Maybe new year resolution to make work of less priority...

BTW, can SMS me ur contact no. at 81338208. Lost my phone and my contacts

as a result. Take care yah~~~

Hi Ktkt, y dont u consider the KTM 950 Adv instead. For $30Gs u get loads of quality parts less the shaft n tubeless rims :cheeky:
