Rest "period" for me, hope I don't rest too long as I have started to dismantle bit by bit to clean, adjust and tighten all I can. Sure to discover something I can't do and will definitely need our dear Eris's magic touch...

Did a valve clearance check on last Saturday to discover that left exhaust valve clearance is at least 0.40mm and ZERO clearance on right... after adjustment, the bike makes more noise... wonder if I am doing the right thing.... :giddy:

Test ride her on Sunday @ NSH, Fuel consumption back to about 17km/ltr below 140km/hr... at speed ranging from 160km/hr to 180km/hr - FC is about 14km/ltr... much better as compare to 10-11km/ltr...

Ya, seem like alot of them MIA http://www.ukgser.com/forums/images/smilies/hide.gif recently...

What had happened?

Guess they r biz with coming election.

Question : Why do I ride?

Answer : FREEDOM.

2 elderly men told me that I ride because of freedom and they don't know each other.

1 is death - Die of heart attack while riding in Malaysia, guess some of you know him or heard of him and another 1, a non rider had migrated to Australia. I still believe that I ride for FREEDOM and nothing else.

Ask yourself why do you ride?

Hi Dude...

Liberty has a good reputation to settle loss/claims better... for the extra $70 its worth it. You may try AIG too... but cost wise not as competitive as NTUC.

For your bike, 17km/ltr should consider good... hmmm, manual recommended valve clearance should be done every 20,000km, 10,000km for oil change but no harm if you do it every 5000km... or you may like to check with Eris...

PS : valve clearance alone may not improve your FC, many factors involved... :goodluck:
