saw a lot of beemers while i was in Johor on sun... anyone of u guys went in for a ride on Sunday?

Got a dilemma here...

was told by a number of GS owner that engine oil use should be preferably mineral type... but stated in service receipt by PML engine oil used is synthetic :confused:

 

can anyone comment on this...

:help: should we use mineral or synthetic and why??

you are right, they printed "castrol activ synthetic engine oil" but i know it is mineral... it is 20W/50

just to check with you guys, issit true that we are able to test-ride their bikes before buying? If yes, any requirements or obligations that need to be fulfilled?

Hi bros,

Questions:

If going on a long trip.. say Cheng Mai or Cambodia..

What are the tools, parts that we commonly need to bring along?

Any special precaution or care ?

Do we need to send bike to PML for pre trip check?

Consider this too: Bike R1150GS and 5yrs of age, millage 60k done.
