I ordered a BMW Summer 2 pants from a US retailer a few weeks ago and the pants came with a missing plastic belt clip. They resend the clip to me together with a very nice BMW Motorrad T-shirt by USPS. It cost them US$50 for resending a missing 50cents item. Very impressive kind of customer service :faint:

BMW roundle makes a very cool belt buckle :thirsty:

If I see someone walking around my carpark wearing that I will give him 2 big :box: and ask questions later.

Many years back, there was a DIY shop in Takashimaya that sells touch-up pen of different colors for cars. But it has moved.

Anybody knows where still selling?

Thanks, mamat. Even if I get the bagster, I will need a pair of roundels as the part covering them are transparent.

I just got a 2 way SPY alarm cash&carry. Will find the time and the shop to fix it.

I need to go down to Seng Kwang to change the mounting position of my spotlight too. Hopefully, Kim Keat or Stamford can fix at a reasonable price (quoted $40 for Jap bikes).

That'll be my priority. I won't get anything else until the alarm is working.:nono:

BTW, M-Technic offer to enlarge the tank for me for about $1K. Tempting as it is good for touring and their handiwork looks good. And my bike will be unique in the world. :lovestruck:

But $1K (?), and also won't fit any tank bra, so not at the present moment I'm afraid. It would be fun to see my bike go farther than a GSA though! :bouncefire:

Yes, imagine if you are late for work...

thaanks for the info dude...

i'm a fan of Big tanks! -=]

so selling ur GS(a) huh? nice bike can keep la..

the tenere single cylinder, its heavy @ 200+ fully fuelled w/o accessories..

GS650 single is under-powered...

V-strom looks to be the most likely choice for you.. but... aiya u know..

2 Wheelers by Choice, eh? Unfortunately, I'm 2 Wheelers by Necessity

Though if given a choice, I would still go 2 wheels :thumb:

But here's hoping I won't end up with the engineless kind.

Anyway, yap, it's special made. There's no aftermarket fuel tank for the R model. They propose to widen the tank by cutting off the side, so as to more or less keep the shape. So the capacity won't increase by a huge amount and the handling shouldn't be affected much.

Those who has been to the shop will know they once made a tank from Kevlar!!! Now that's what I call a TANK. :gun:

But I am not seriously contemplating it due to $$$. Anyway, I wouldn't need the extra range until I go beyond Thailand, something which I would like to try one day.

Anyone with an unwanted $1K peanut to spare me?

Why am I writing these nonsense? Because I'm at the #%$^* office trying to catch up on #%$^* work. :(

Damn "sian". That means bored, mr twisticle. Will find a day to meet up with you guys especially coolcat and Phang (and examine the roundrel belt).
