Just got my '03 GS1150 Adventure.. Its my 1st time having a BMW bike n lots of things that i need to learn.. Perhaps u guys might wanna share about some information on tis bike..Cheers

I think u should have to call them to be sure. When i was there he was not finished with the catalog and prices yet. Hence my panniers set have to do a separate qoute.... 20mins waiting time....

Newbie here. Just a question to BMW brothers, what is it you love most about your bike over the other high-end bikes?

I notice most BMW bikes I see on roads are the GS, either 1200GS or 800GS. Hardly see any others. And I feel the 1200GS looks like a tough bike to ride in traffic. Please share your experience.

For rally 3 Glove, I think is cost less than $100 orig price is abt $160.

thats reasonable for the gloves, hope they still have stock. got a question to ask, i have a issue with my bike when i leave it on side stand overnight, when i try to start in the morning, there will be white smoke from the exhuast for a good 10-15 secs. any suggestion for it? i am ridding a r1150rt. thanks in advise.

Wow, that is a deadly seriously good answer. I prolly hv to find a way to try the big GS. Mainly attracted by the 800GS as been running into them on the road quite often recently. Pardon me asking such a question but its becoz I hardly hear much about GS rider's experience. Most potential buyers in my small circle will consider either STX / FJR / busa it seems.

Let me offer my views. This should be normal so long as the smoke clears when the bike starts to warm up. More predominant on the traditional K bikes, reported occasionally on the oilheads. Often attributed to oil seeping past rings and burning off. Good idea to check the exhaust to see if it is smoking prior to you parking after a ride - if none then I would not worry about it except to check the oil level via sight glass to make sure that your bike is not burning off too much oil.

Thanks for the info. Will probably do that. I think not many ppl will actually know what they want...heh. I also don't really know what I want. As long as looks interesting. and most importantly, handling it must not be beyond my own abililty.
