I reckon they work the same.

 

The noise is generated by the servo pump.

 

Did u just got your 1150RT?

Is the ABS working?

When's your last service of brake fluid?

Last change of battery or simply battery status?

 

Hmm good one i try again to check this mth for my break problem. But when i try emergency stop the ABS seems working.

Hi, do you guys had any good recommendations for tyre change? Need to change my front tyre..on my Dakar..any idea roughly how much for a semi-off road one? Any good model to recommend? Please advise as I just got my bike recently..Thanks.

Just received a call from KL side, they are having a Iron butt ride this month 24 to 26th Nov. Will cost 300rm including a night stay at KL hotel.

 

The plan is to ride coast to coast within 24 hrs.

 

They will be submitting the ride to the Iron Butt USA for certification.

 

Anyone interested?

 

Need to confirm latest by tonight thou....

1600km in 24 hours is no joke. Do keep awake while riding if any one is going.

hey pacific coast, i purchased a 96 1100gs recently. anyone riding 1 as well? know where i can find used spaces locally? stamford, m-teknik, perfection... where else? a reliable, used transmission gearbox perhaps? not many to be found online as well.

Hi Rix,

give me your e-mail address and I will send you some info on the M97 transmission. (May be helpful if you have not read them). Too much to discuss here. I do not think there are quick fixes. There are parts in the transmission that are worn and need to be replaced.

Hi,

Side Pannier Lid for R1150R.

I need lids that are slimmer profile (than the original).

 

Anyone has that to offer?

BMW has "city" lids which are slimmer than the normal panniers' covers. Reduces the width but cannot carry a open or full helment (dunno whether half cap can or not).

 

Storage on a bike is a real blessing. The new panniers on the F800s and the K1200S are really nice and seems to hug the bikes well.
