Thanks!!! Good advice! Lucky for me the previous owner changed the tyres not long before he sold me the bike. However I got a single ABS flashing light....

Single ABS flashing light? Even after move off?

 

If you ride for a while, off engine and move off again and the flashing ABS light disappear, then your battery is near the end already. Take note when changing batteries, the voltage may be correct but the amperage must be as specified in the manual.

Anybody here had upgraded their suspension before? Any experience to share?

 

I had just placed an order with Motoworld for a set of front and rear Hyperpro springs for my F800ST. They will be doing the installation, keeping my fingers crossed. I was told I have to wait a couple of months though, due to shipping.

I hate it when shops do this... couple of months for a set of springs. it must be coming round the mountains on 6 white horses...

 

On another note, just saw a spanking new GS at Changi Ferry Terminal. Bro said he just picked it up from PML, and the showroom shine on the exhaust headers concurred with him. Dude was on his way into TM on day 1 !

Perhaps u can ask them if they ever install it on a beemer before.. If yes, then my guess u shd take a look at how they confidently they do it.

 

Alternatively maybe can just get the shocks and install it somewhere else like M-Tek or the shop at Autobay(can't remember the shop name). I saw they do up alot of beemers and ducatis there. But of course need to fork out labour charges.

 

Just my 2 cents worth.... Do correct me if im wrong.

Hi Scramble, breakfast ride open to all, even non BMW bikes. Last sunday there was a super 4 and ST11 rider joining the ride. I guess they have equally good fun.

Hi Idono, yes non-BMW members or non-BMW bikes also can join. As long as you ride, if not get someone who ride to pillion you also can.

btw, you don't need to pay any fees or anything to join the ride, it's just a fun ride. Everything is on dutch.

Michelin Pilot Road 3 are in.

Read some great reviews and especially there are in the GS and GS ADV sizes.

good especially for roads.

 

BUT..

local distributors never bring in the sizes.

 

now where do i complain..
