Hey guys, where can I get good bike cover? Those wet will not tear and will not burn or melt when the exhaust pipe or boxes engine get contact with it.

Please advice me,hope to see reply ASAP, many thanks.

Not ASAP as missed your post.

I use an Oxford Aquatex, cheapest of the range. I think less than $40 at Motoworld. I only wait about 5 min before covering my bike and it doesn't seems to melt even touching the exhaust for a short time. Seems quite well built, and I think doesn't cost much more than those LAB ones.

I bought the size 5 XL from Regina cos me less than $30. Water resistant but water go in proof during heavy downpour. Able to cover my bike fully with 3 panniers on. Btw I'm using the vario panniers.

2500++ for front and back.. hmmmm......

so many things to buy, so little money..

hi,

for suspension setting right, i believe, u yourself have to find the sweet spot. its more like a trial and error kinda thing. my setting will not suit u and vice versa. so do try out the tuning. keep a note of your setting, and go for a ride. its very tricky.

cheers

Hi

I did trial and error, just that I want to do fine tuning. Believe it can be done.

Im standing at 1.71 and riding a GSA. Just slight tip toe on standard seat heigt. Personally i feel its not a problem. Well the seats can be adjusted as standard or low.

At low, both my feet are flat on the ground. But i didn't like it though, dun ask me why cos i dun know myself.

Depends on your inseam. I'm 1.75, 32" in-seam. very ok with 1200GS (slight tip-toe). ok with 800gs (high tip-toe). but have problem tipping over the GSA.

But note 800gs is higher seat than GSA. The problem is the weight of GSA. But with effort and good bike control, yes, can ride the GSA although pushing it around on the bike and tipping over can be tough.

Some bros recommend getting off bike to push it around but I don't have this habit.

Thanks bros for the kind feedback. Actually i already took the leap of faith and ordered one even before trying to seat on the GSA.lolz.Just wanted to gather some response whether there would be a need to get a low seat..hehe..Cheers. :p:P

Bro sian of fazer huh..

time to change bro...lot of fazerians has change to a GS/GSA..:p

Haha. to be honest..the FZ1 was a sweet ride.. but time for something more adventurous.. heheh.

i experience it too. when my panniers are fully loaded. tried hitting 170++ but the wobbling is quite bad. tried adjusting the rear suspension but nothing.

Perhaps a steering damper help in this case??

Experience that too.. Hmmm..

Let's change to OHLINS!!! hehehehe

it could be due to uneven appropriation of load. i was puzzled too when i experience that wobbling. after more research, the culprit is the load distribution not balance and causes the wobbling.

I experienced the wobble without any panniers, not even the top case.

Thanks for all the feedback given I had resolved the proble. I followed Ohlins instructions on setting up the suspension, had another experienced mate helped me. Just came back from a ride, hitting 170 - 180 kmph very stable as compared to the last time. Cheers.
