Hi Rajeh, so when is you machine coming in. It will be same like mine red magma. red colour is rare on the road nowadays. I ever saw u riding vara before cause im use to ride it too with the Vara group. and there had a ride this 23rd

Guys anybody know where can i get replace of the hand grip for my GSA. My left side had already torn and cant replace it for normal type. The shop told me it has to be heated grip type. Any advice? if for M-tecknik have it how much?

Bigdaddy,u need order back the original heated grip from PML, cos outside market heated grip may or may not fits the original, to play save on your $, I would suggest u to get back the original.

I'm using Ohlins suspension too and have experienced the wobbling at 160 Kmph, able to share the Ohlins instruction on the setting up of the suspension? Thanks in advance. Cheers.

 

 

I experienced the wobble without any panniers, not even the top case.

 

Thanks for all the feedback given I had resolved the proble. I followed Ohlins instructions on setting up the suspension, had another experienced mate helped me. Just came back from a ride, hitting 170 - 180 kmph very stable as compared to the last time. Cheers.

Quite interested in the helmet too.... but when you order, I about to buy either a Hornet or AGV.. .maybe hold off a while. Now wear open-faced, cannot laugh at puny bikes too hard, so hv to change to FF

One mountain higher than another mountain. Sporean riding puny bmw laughing at other puny riders when global drivers are driving their BMW with same purchase price. Be alive, there are also people travelling in their own jets. But ultimately all goes to the same place sooner or later where riches do not differentiate.

gone are the days when all riders are brothers or sisters...when i started touring in 1996...along north south highway n b roads..we would friendly wave at opposite bikers or on the same way bikers..and we would get back the friendly gesture...now no longer....the malaysian bikers are so much better in bikers brotherhood.

True. My Tiger Explorer has many better features than a GSA, but the siting of the buttons on the TE's handlebar and instrument panel seems a bit flawed.

 

I would say the GSA has better reach for the buttons. And the para-lever is sorely missed. The lack of tele-lever is not really felt on the TE.

ok tats cool, but it takes time to order from them. How about if i order direct shipping? does it cost more? Now my handle grip looks ugly cause can see the heater mechanism like a patch.

Just penning my own opinion, hope bros here can agree to disagree if my thoughts doesn't go along yours. 

I think of BMW as a premium brand, it's machines are premium machines, that is why I am willing to fork out a premium on the price tag that comes with it. 

However I do not think of elitism but rather just a matter of choice and budget. Neither do I look down or laugh at smaller bikes. Many a times over the past 2 weeks of returning to riding, I feel that I get in their way on the roads as I ride slowly and refrained from squeezing. 

Amongst us, some ride for passion and fun, others ride for transport purposes, but at the end of the day, we all want to be home safely with the family.

So stay chill bros!

Be it "puny" or a gargantua bike, when we fall we still feel the same pain, the same burn, the same blood and lastly the same scar..

 

Never laugh at those"puny" bikes cos its those "puny" bike riders whos gonna stop by the side and help us when we fall.. Tats called Brotherhood Riders.

yeap i agreed with u regards this matter. Last time when we riding a smaller bike always envy BMW bike everytimes saw them stop at the traffic light watching them high and low how beauty it is. Now once we on it we will think of them how envy they looks on us ..not matter wat, we never look down on them only choice is the perceptions.

Not everyone starts off biking but I love it so much, decided to stick with it. To be honest, BMW or not, is not a pride thing to me, just tot to try it out coz its such a popular bike. So far, still undecided whether to like it or not. Superb riding position but the engine.... still miss my other jap bikes.... Anyway, riding is not a pride / arrogant thing to me, I ride because I really love the feeling of riding everyday. Sorts of "soothes" me. Any kind of bike, I still will like it. Especially small bikes, when they come up behind me, I will always give way, coz i'm slow ....

 

But agree on the brotherhood thingie. Bikers need to look out more for each other. Been encountering a lot of brash bikers on the road these days. Have enough stress looking out for drivers and now have to look out for rash riders as well

The instructions can be found in the box together with you suspension. Other than that your can download online from the ohlins website.
