Thank you for your reply. Could you please let me know what was the version of the Navigator® Southeast Asia NT that you've used. If you are not sure of the version, could you please let me know the period that you used it or purchased it?

Thank you very much in advance.

Anyway I had given up on Garmin's map. I got it together with the Zumo which was bought a year back. I found it a hassle to upgrade the maps thus it's lying in the empty box. Maybe you should try loading the malfree or malsing maps, very reliable. I should be holding on to ver 6.5. Cheers.

Guys got a qz to ask u all, do u all cover ur bike wif canvas?

If yes, do u all experience cats climb up ur bike seats, pannier or fuel tank to sleep for a night, next day morning leaving their acidic urine, crawl scratches or cat fur onto ur seats, pannier n fuel tank?

How to stop them from doing so?

Pls advise me ASAP. Thank you

Daiso sell this cat repellent , which will emit a musky and burned wood smell. Usually I would put the packet on my seat when I cover the bike. The package comes with a Zip lock , so I would open the package and keep it open when i put it on the seat. Only $2 only

the cheapest way is to use lemons...just rub it in and apparently cats hate the smell...

i have yet to personally try it but this was what i read in the forum...

This is how I do it with my cover on.

I bought the plastic floor mat for toilets (those that comes in pieces and you join them together). Buy those that are very pocky on one side. Join few pieces together just enuf to cover your seat as well as the side boxes. Have been using this for many years now and it works. Once the cats climb up they feel uneasy with the pocky feeling they get.

Try and see ya! :thumb:

I just use a rubber strap n strap down the cover so there is no "canopy" for them to hide , on a separate note , can anyone advise the most reliable BMW spare parts supplier online , I got to one A & S BMW motorcycles but they need American or Canadian bank credit cards , no pay pal allowed , and I read about the new timing chain tensioner upgrade for the R1150R , which is used on 2005 bikes onwards , mine is 2003 - thanks in advance !

Btw I've just upgraded the tensioner on my C and it's definitely much quieter... now I'm hearing the valves ticking instead, time to check valve clearance... :)

Hi all, I'm looking at getting a gs1200 7.5 yrs old. What will be the items I should take note of. Ie sensor or servicing to be done if they are not done/replaced in the last 2 yrs. 3 owners would that be a problem. Thanks as I'm a noob at BMW bikes, any advice appreciated

Many of the inmates here are much better than me at the R1200 models. Generally, check for signs of leaks, rear wheel sideways play. Fuel pump flange is a known weakness but one that you cannot do much about. Ride the bike and slowly get it up to steam.

Cheers

Been thinking of getting a Beemer .... heard that for FQ can get a GS1100 for around $13k, any owners out there that can give input on this bike or later models ... in finance ..... accesorries and maintanance

observed any time you proceed program your BMW bike on their particular program center, they cost on an hourly basis goodness me?
