When i first got my used drz the gear shiftings into Neutral was like playing hide and seek with that gear...very funny:(at first tot clutch worn out....but following a few times of timely EO change at Raptors, now everytime i change my oil the gear shifts perfect..when used a few hundred more kms then the shifts become a game with Neutral again...so...gearshifts are good indicators of EO change too!haha..

lol had that game the first time i got it. now seems pretty alright hehe. you always get your bike done at raptor? got a few parts i've yet to installed. thinking of shops i should go to get them done :p think raptor wouldnt mind fixing the parts i bought from other shops?

oh btw guys. just curious. i've been trying damn hard to wheelie with my bike. using probably a 39t-15t sprocket. i would go at around 10+km/hr than jump the clutch and ramm all the way to 10krpm++. the bike doesnt budge!! should i change my sprocket size? i'm changing my fs soon too trying to sell my scorpion hehe

hahaha...can chip in again..YOutube! is a great help...I'm on same size sprockets as urs. FCR and Delta FS..when i downsized to 39 rear i tot wheelies were over for me..but the guy at unique said it's up to the rider..so true enuf i'm still can learn wheelie with 39t rear. In fact i think it's better(safer) as it should make the wheel come up slower than say a 45t sprocket? Supermotojunkie has been good tutorial too..1 guy called McSlow recorded his wheelie progress from nth to doing Balance point wheelies in 1st and second gear..

2 ways for wheelie generally that i can find on the net.

1.)Clutching It Up -For me i do it at 30kmh first gear roll along - shut throttle/clutch in(not all the way, for me just index and middle finger) - open throttle release clutch wheel comes up.

2.) Power wheelies - Open throttle WOT(to extend the front shocks)- shut throttle(to compress the shocks) - WOT again(hopefully with the rebound from the shutting just now the power coming in will work in tandem to bring your wheels up.

For the two steps above it all happens in split second, it's very hard to type the steps out as i need to recall which step comes first..But i'm sure there are wheelie gurus hiding here somewhere waiting to chip in..

Important* thing to remember - ALWAYS COVER YOUR REAR BRAKE!!!!!!!! in case the front wheel comes up too much that's the only thing stopping ur bike riding u upside down.

*2nd is to don't do it where police can see u..heheheheheh...

Practice makes perfect(not that i'm perfect at it)haha..

I do it at one empty heavy vehicle parking at the west..haha...it's just bout finding the sweet spot...

I hate to wheelie... coz when it happens on the track... the rest go blasting past me.

You are only fast when the front wheel stays on the ground.

Speaking from my own humble experience.

Haha boss some of us just want to have fun riding drz...like u said, when ur young wheelies are one of the things u must know..haha..btw coming tmr morning for my oil change and if possible do valve clearance also..

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...
