I understand how you feel. I just got a cheapo givi small box from

Bukit merah.Detach it when I don't need it. Just leave the base plate on. H&B looks rugged and cool but don't think it suits the drz's profile.

Ride safe people!!

hey ticks,

quite interested in seeing how a givi box looks like on a drz.

mind taking a pic and share?

Hi everyone!!!

Wat box n racks suitable for drz?? Where to get em? I love my Z as it is but have to get a box to carry my wrk stuffs. :(

Thanx!!

It all comes down to ur taste and how much ur willing to spend bro.

Below $100 u can easily get a givi box and baseplate.

For H&B/Trax to mount it on a DRZ $4** - $7** :)

How do i do a proper chokestart on a DRZ? When i pulled the choke out fully( 2 clicks ) n press the starter. It doesnt starts even after 3 tries.( tried on 2 different occasion ) I need to push back the choke n squeeze abit of throttle n starter to get the cold engine started instead.

Do i need to switch the petrol to Prime position n pull the choke out before cranking? How do the rest of y'all do a engine coldstart?

ahys what windshield u using?

Universal Spitfire windshield. Mounts on handlebar, easy on easy off.

Worth gettin if u go up north or cruise alot. Mount it right and u will feel a major change while cruising.

Haha you're gonna laugh at me. Don't know what size but I think it's was pretty much the smallest in the range of that shop.

Hey man thanks...yea you're right, it is a Givi Slim...u know the 2 holes across behind your seat? i used those 2 as they mount on the frame itself..for the rear portion of the baseplate i just pasted some sponge tape to absorb the vibration.. It's actually quite secure..i got the idea from a guy i met at Raptor's..that's how he mounted his for years he says, no problems at all..You're dead right about the vibration. It was a bad idea for me to bring back CNY cookies from across the border...just imagine what 2 hours of vibration did to it?!

BTW i normally dont ride with it if i dont need to...have been kicking it real hard when i dismount the bike..hehe..
