Hi there

I am about 165cm @ 50kg and I can tiptoe w/ some struggling when I was still on the stock seat height.

Before I bought my bike, I did alot of research on lowering the seat height.

3 methods most commonly mentioned:

1) cut seat

2) lower suspension

3) lowering links

From what I read, should try the above 3 methods in order(if the previous method is unable to solve the problems)

I had my seat cut, and sides tapered at Eugene Saddlery.

With that, I can comfortably tiptoe with flat shoes, on both sides.

When I wear my SAF boots, I can almost "flat foot" the ground.

Of course, after cutting seat, the rider's buttock must be able to tahan a "hard" seat, because the sponge become significantly lesser, which will cause the rider's buttock to easily touch the plastic support of the seat.

Besides height, weight of the rider is also important.

I believe raptor have mentioned before that he has stocks of the lowering links. Not sure whether he still has them now.

IMO, the bike is considered light, thus a slight tiptoe will give enough stability.

bro drz not light le. Other SM's much lighter. Try doing u turn on a dime then U know. Hehe.

Generally as compared to other SM rider who ride the European makes say the drz among the SMs are heavy and low on power. But compared to S4s. Hehe.

Im using the lv x3 carbon tip. And my review on this exhaust are rather mixed. This exhaust, produces a bassy plus hollow sound on deceleration. Like mixed like that lah. I like it. But u see, no street legal exhaust will satisfy our needs for sound. It is very soft when street legal just like any other exhaust but produces a louder sound on engine braking. U can choose to tamper with the internals at ur own risk of cos. even if u do tamper, it doesnt produce a crazy loud sound like deltas. There is this "stopper" like thing in the middle of the end can and a spark arrestor at the tip. Remove both and it sounds so fkin good lol. But be warned. Unlike a silencer, the "stopper" thingy, if removed, cant be replaced. Looks wise, i prefer barrel 4 hands down but it sounds flat. A mech told me that if ur going to build ur engine, delta would be a wiser choice due to its larger internal bore diameter.

But if ure not worried abt an exhaust being no street legal n want the best bassy sound, get the gpr (the newer one) and take out the silencer. Sounds extremely good n loud. Imo its the best sound an exhaust can get less race exhausts. Note that it is the newer gpr n not the older one. Huge sound difference. I dont know abt this exhaust performance wise but the internal bore looks rather big.

Ultimately, u need to determine what u want. Outlook / sound etc2.

Hey bro, arent u the one with the red delta endcap? If ure the one, then i dun think urs is a barrel 4. Barrel 4 only applies to the newer ones if memory serves me right. Lol. Been a while since i looked it up. If i am wrong, SORRY!! Lol

Thanks for review bro, much appreciated :)

Sound and loudness do not equate to performance or power.

Leo VinceX3 Carbon tip gives the bike strong midrange to top end power. Track tested at Pasir Gudang.

+1 thanks encik!

How to differentiate? Old delta endcan is alil longer then the new delta. Other then that endcap and sticker can easily swap to look different.

Oh and the sound of couse :)

I dont know if its true but fm wad i see, new delta is fatter than its predecessor. And the end cap has sharper features. The photo shows it.
