How difficult?cold start have to start a few times?

Ride safe people!!

Its just like starting a bike that has been left untouched for afew days. Cranks many2 times. Like theres not enuff fuel in the carb or smtg. I dont know

twist the throttle once or twice then crank it up

Yup. Wad i do everyday is to turn the fuel to prime, twist the throttle afew times then start. It still requires a sp longer time to start than stock carb. And its quite mafan or leceh to do this and that when sometimes ur late for work. Lol. I wanna know if this phenomenon is normal or not.

Any guys with fcr experience some trouble in starting after overnight parking? Is it normal? Happens everyday. Sucks.

what FCR you using? i never had any issues with starting even after a few days with the TT FCR..

is it jetted properly? dun mind my wtn tho, how much FC are u getting out of it btw? TT FCR is no diff from normal fcr-mx..still can work if done right with the right parts.

TT FCR uses a DRZ specific bell stack.. Without the proper bell stack, FC will be high due to the improper intake of air and mixture of air/fuel.. 23km/L is good..

Those using compatible FCR can have FC as low as 8-10km/ L only..

It maybe jetted correctly.. But is the air/fuel mixture tuned properly..

Hard to start maybe the lacking of fuel, or too much air..

Is your 3X3 done? Or is it done properly?

Correct fuel air mixture? I dont know man. Lol. All i know is to go shop. Well, that particular shop i went to is known to jet drz carbs. My bike have that popping sounds when decelerating. I am confused cos from many forums i browsed, some say it is linked to running lean. But some say that it is a fact of life if open exhaust and fcr combined will produce popping sounds. My mech says that too. To add to my confusion, i watched fragmasterkarls' vids and its exactly how my bike sounds like when decelerating. Lots of popping. Only softer. I got so confused that i decided to just ignore it since im getting not so bad fc. Lol. And btw my 3x3 alrdy done wen i bought the bike. It looks proper.

And one more thing, i remember reading this post in one forum. He says his bike does have the pop sound. But he adjusted the carb till the point that it doesnt produce anymore popping. Wad he said aft that was that his bike doesnt pull as hard anymore. So there u go. The more i read, the more confused i get. Lol

Well, I'm not sure where you did yours.. I followed the online instructions and tuning, Ive forgot how many turns out for the air/fuel mixture screw.. But mine never had any deceleration popping, only had it on very hard decel at track..

Pop sound is definitely not normal.. Minimal is ok, but not during normal decel..

My guess is ur right. But in any case, if i let my bike run lean like now, would it hurt the bike?

yea ure right its more of the bell stack..most have irremovable intake stack, bt the the right mech can mod the right one for u but as u say ur fc seems good...im getting ard 20-23 as well and im not using a TT carb, mine comes with the hot start bla bla option..but anyways like bitiing_point mention, i do not have any pop during deceleration as well, during normall riding tat is..

To the exhaust experts here. Can we mix LV x3 with delta header legally?

Ride safe people!!

Not legal bro! Lol. The question is, is a full system even legal? I know big bikes with fs are not legal. The other time i got stopped by lta, he asked me wether my exos is fs or slip on. So its a question mark for me. Im guessing its legal but a mix and match header is certainly not legal. Tho i dont think they can tell the diff. Unless of cos its a powerbomb header.
