Can anybody help me?

my bike was perfectly normal this afternoon, everything was working great until after i wash my bike.

i couldnt even start the bike, tried kick starting but still couldn't get it to start.

it seems like theres no electricity running thru the bike, all the lights doesn't work.

does anybody knows how do i rectify the problem?

Check your battery fuse. Probably blown.

I hope you did not go to those commercial bike wash where they use those water blasters to clean the bike. Guaranteed to screw up the electrics and cause the steering cone and wheel bearings to corrode.

The sort that can be used both on- and off-road, like what supermoto bikes were originally designed to do? :-)

I might be wrong, but I don't see how the stock tyres or most of the other DRZ tyres meant for street or track (PG, Sepang) use could hold up on dirt.

The ones I have in mind are the sort with a semi-off road thread pattern: generally like street but with deep grooves throughout. Will have to look around some shops this week I guess.

ive checked my battery fuse, its blown, had it replaced and now there is electricity but still i couldnt get it to start. (Well the battery seems weak though) could it be the starter carbon has worn out?

Starter carbon doesnt cause no supply to the instruments etc. If u changed fuse n still no supply check ur batt voltage n terminals. If its tight, check the connection whether there is corrosion between the battery n ur bike wire. Lastly check ur main wires n ignition.

Currently i couldnt start the bike by using the electric starter switch and by using the kickstarter

when i turn the key on the ignition, only the small light bulb in the headlight is lighted up.

Just got a drz with a old 06 installed delta exhaust. It's legal with d cert and some papers but I'm not sure if it have been tampered with d silencer. I just feel my bike is a little loud for a legal exhaust. I read some post regards to d older delta which is louder and all is it true ??

:gun:"lovin it"

Look at the silencer. If u cannot see three holes at the silencer... Youre breaching the law...

Oh BTW I just installed a pair of Avon Distanzias on my DRZ - got them from Chong Aik and had them installed at Unique (Raptor was closed today).

Not the most ideal for off-road, but will try them out on the trail this Sat.

Not all the Delta exhaust comes with the three holes at the silencer.

I purposely bought it and fixed in on my old delta. Too loud to be legal. Lol
