Hi guys. Last week kena for arrow header. This week lta aim me again. Say I must have mud guard. But more than 9 out of 10 of the drz I see on road are having the same as me.

 

Its just your luck. Stay legal if you dont wanna go thru the hassle.

Did u manage to ask him if LTA officers generally pull bikers over just to check for illegal modifications even though such modifications enhances safety?

 

enhances safety in whose mind? The LTA guys follow the rules - simple as that

hey guys, need to go for my inspection soon, drc edge tail light, can pass inpection? my front indicators led also...

 

spend some money ask workshop do inspection. save all the trouble and confirm pass.

I stand corrected... I think a 'cert for header' is actually a cert for the header AND its endcan... meaning a cert stating full system is safe for use on this bike.

 

Pluck out its original intended partner (endcan) and slot in a foreign partner (certified for use as silencer/endcan only...with stock header)... I think both certs void now.

won't pass. u need stock tail light. & not led blinker.

 

ok thanks. the previous owner told me he brought along the original tail light and blinkers to inspection and he managed to pass the inspection lol

wth. kaki bukit centre maybe can, or pass u on other thing but let u go fix on and come back again w/o queuing & pay again. but other place sure cant pass. they need u fix stock 1 on.

my advice is just fix all stock on den go inspect, avoid any hassle.

I went woth drc edge tail light but for the mud guard, I used the rubber mud guard extension for super4.

I suggest if u want to use the drc edge tail light, u take ur stock tail light, cut off from the plate no hole area, then fix it on your drc edge tail light.

HELP!

I've just got TT Fcr3 39mm and seems like I can't get the settings.

Now its on 3rd clip for the needle, 160 for the fuel, 48 for the air and 2.5 turns.

And im using oval yoshi pipe also 3x3 has been done.

 

I can't gradually throttle up my bike from 1st gear cause it will bobbed even when its below 50km/h on 3rd.

But when I just blast the throttle, it goes smoothly.

 

Anyone knows any good shop for tuning and where the mechanic rides to test the bike after.

Selling off this tailight that I took out from my DRZ..It is still usable and can just plug and play. Except some parts of the wire are being covered with black tape (which is unseen as it goes under the bike),the rest are still in good condition. The 5th pic is how it will look like if fixed on a DRZ.

 

Looking for $30 (nego).PM me

Hi, I have some doubts. Hope someone could input me with the correct input.

It is true that the,

1- coolant tank will leak easily? As in not lasting.

2- coil will get burn easily?

3- gear hub breaks easily?

coil gets burn easily usually because of engine oil change not frequent enough and resulting bad and high temp engine oil flowing in d system.

 

gear hub issue i think u r referring to the gear shaft problem ? that can be prevented by using loctite provided ur shaft is not lose already. usually due to mech using high pressured air powered guns to lock d nut on the front sprocket.

 

as for d radiators i think if u dont fall and crush them,they should be fine. google unabiker radiator guards or visit raptor he sell d radiator guards good investment to prevent crushing these expensive rads.
