Sym GTS 300i/200 evo (joymax)

Hi All,

 

was thinking of buy GTS 200 or evo 200I but was told that SYM new bike often break down. can you guys advise me. kind of waste $$ if bike keep break down...

Alot of people riding it..i think should be fine..i had my joymax for about 4 months plus so far so good..

Hi Kent,

 

Taiwanese scooters are one of the most reliable on the planet. I would say, second to Japanese. Do u know that BMW 650 Scooter engine is made by the taiwanese too? SYM has a long history including OEM manufacturer for brands like Honda etc. Been on a couple of long touring trips, and I've seen korean and european bikes breaking down.. and my SYM is still going strong.

Hi all,

 

I accidently drop my keys into the seat and closed it as i was rushing for time...

I tried squeezing my hands through but couldnt reach the keys... So i broke the seat...

 

Now my seat cant lock as the metal hook came off

 

Anyone knows where i could get either a new/second hand seat? ??

Still undecided whether to get a Sym Joymax 300i or Kymco DT 300i. Personally I like the look and design of Joymax but worry abt after sales services. For DT 300i, I like its simplicity and the uncle I met at MS sounds convincing and sincere in providing their sales and services. Can any kind soul share what made you decide to buy a Sym bike instead of Kymco?

I am 2 months SYM Joyride owner and I'm not sure is SYM Joyride is grouped under this thread.

 

Btw, I need advice from bros here. My rear tyre puncture near my work place, which is at Tuas South and I can't find any workshop near this area.

 

Any bros can recommend cheap and good tow service.? what will be the pricing like.?

Yes, it's the latest GTS 300i. $11.5k otr include insurance, rd tax, givi box, 2 helmets n 1 raincoat. It's really a comfortable ride except that i'm not used to the low mirror position. Overall still quite please with it, especially the big storage.
