was involved in accident u cn refer to this thread for more info,

 

it seems that im on the losing end, the driver is trying to make a claim thru my insurance,

& since my insurance only 3rd party im unable to make a claim for myself, only the other party able to make a claim,

 

according to him his car have dent on the rear,, his car signal light all need to change so as his side fender, as for my bike i have not seen my bike personally,

he told me that my bike seems okey n his car is the one tt have a really damaged if compared.

 

for the fact im new to the road i need ur advise

i guess the only thing u can say is he did brake without reason.. but then if you bump ppl from behind.. usually its hard to get away.. the damage on your bike i'm afraid you have to bear your own cost since u mentioned yours is not covered.. my advise is call the driver ask him can settle outta court and just pay him 200-400 .. if he claim from your insurance.. your premium will go sky high next year..

lucky you didn;t bang taxi .. they'll even claim dental damages which can go up to $12000

bro..r u p plate? if u still p plate most likely very hard to win. did u or ur pillion sustain any injuries or was there any police involved? i ever experienced wad u went through..lucky i was alone. dat tyme i bang directly in the middle of his rear. u cn actuali consult ur bikeshop or if u dun trust dem..go to an MP n tell dem ur story. if u go lawyer for consultation..will cost a bomb. if u r lucky..the MP is a lawyer n he could advise u from his professional point of view. aniwae..during my accident..i didnt bother to fight coz i didnt sustain any major injuries. so my premium went up bt didnt bother coz by insurance exipry i wanted to change bike anyway..e onli thing u have to worry abt is repairing ur bike..slowly repair wad is impt 1st and regularly look in garage sales to c wad items u may need for ur bike. for myself..i went to jb to fix my nsr sp at dat tyme and total cost was abt 500rm. fairings i bought from ahboy. if u do engage ur insurance to fight it out for u..der's a possibility u may lose and have to pay lawyer fees. bt if u r an experienced rider, maybe u might get 10-20% (dun burn me for wrong info). i dun tink ur premium will go sky high..mebbe 200-300 more onli..compared to e cost u have to pay for e damages incurred by e car. treat it like a lesson learnt..dun ever tink car ppl r good drivers..coz reali dey r not..especially small bikes..u r juz a fly in their path

only to bear the insurance renewal premium to go sky high .

 

the car can do a emergency stop..for any reason from running over a ant to seeing a ghost....u are not suppose to bang himm in the back..

life is unfair sumtimes..i got banged head-on by a taxi at a junction n i still lose..i say green is on my favour bt becoz i gt no witness nt credible enuff. duno where e taxidriver popped out a passenger in his car from

all depends, there's no definate answer, however bang from behind definately hard to win. best is to convince TP not totally ur fault, so the other party cannot claim ur insur fully then u might have chance, howerver u'll never get 100%.

btw, premium will not sky rocket, all depend how much was claimed. if just a few k, prob 50% increase for 1yr n ncd gone.

my case taxi bang my bike butt..bike fall now almost 3 yrs still not close.

taxi got demerit point from tp..still not close taxi insurance dowant settle.

 

best is u go find the lawyer used by the taxi company hehe.

Bang from behind, sorry too say sure cannot win. its very an unfair think but their reason will be, ur either speeding or tailgating the other party. Lots of my friend when to thru this including me, soree to see this though, hope it works out well.
