What are the symptoms of a flooded carburettor besides the bike being difficult to start?

What steps can we take to prevent flooding of the carburettor?

And, most importantly, what can be done to rectify the issue? Is it a problem that will go away on its own? If not, what can the motortiam or we ourselves do?

Thanks!

When was the last time you serviced the carb?

The shutoff needle of the float valve could be not sitting properly due to dirt or if it is an old carb... the valve seat could be worn out but can be replaced.

Or the float level setting is too high.

I believe the carb hasn't been serviced in a little more than a year.

What if serviced the carb, then after that, the bike like so difficult to start after that? Then cannot hold idling also? Bike will stall and have to keep revving?

Dont need to take out the whole carb.. Just need a very short and small screw driver to adjust.. Theres no need to replace the whole carb as the carb itself is too difficult to spoil..
