ive not heard of 'Hyosung Comet 125 ' too... again its korean, and well i feel " it looks alot like 'road win' which looks alot like 'honda hornet'

 

looking at the specs.. pretty similar to varadero (except vara125 has bit more Horsepower 15, it has 14.6)

 

and it comes in the range of 125, 250 & 600

yah lah...actually i don't like the pipe also...

below the seat will be more fierce...

last time that happen... after removing the fuses, clean abit and insert again.. it works...

dont know ... if that can work for it now?

 

mine also now.. speedo.. always haywire... someties... dont even.. measure....

I think its useful to put a bicycle speedo for the time being to gauge your speed.

Its dangerous to ride without knowing ur speed...

oni the speedometer, clock and rpm still working fine.....

last time when my speedo went hay wire, i juz need to plug in and out the socket can liao but now........ it doesnt works any more...

 

actually tot of installing a bicycle speedo so any recommendation??

 

now as for how i guage my speed????

5th gear @ abt 9-9.5 rpm, the speed will be 90-100km/hr

when my bike @ 80kmh, my engine will give some sort of "melody"......

den i will know my speed is 80km/hr

 

btw can the bicycle reach more then 100km/hr?

Damn..1 week og not posting and this thread has multiplied. Anyways..i agree with Varas about the danger of riding without a speedo.

 

Pingster>> There are bicycle speedos that do go above 100km/h. I recommend you get the Sigma BC-1200 bu you might need to get an extended wire mount as the one supplied might not be long enough. It clocks a max of 199km/h. Plus it also has an odometer too. i'm not sure where to get it though. You might wanna ask in the bike acessories section though. The hardest bit will be to mount the magnet on one of the spokes. Most likely you'll have to glue it. There can only be a certain distance from the magnet to the sensor.

Did u check the sensor cable for wear and tear or whether it is lose or not?

I encounter before on another bike at my work place that the cable nut came off thus couldn't function.

Check and see. Could be that.

Aikon>>> Petrol---all i can say is use mid range grade petrol...that will be fine.....V-power no problem...but the pricing is too ex...thats what i do...BUT if you go JB, i heard lah...their petrol is grade B while our is grade A....OR u can try all petrol and see for yourself which one suits you....U should try petronas....the top grade...not bad...can fight V-power....Side-box---your preferance...for me, initially i want to put side box...after sometime...i found out that i put side box...i cannot squeeze...i suggest u fix the side-box rack...it can act as your rear crashguard...T-shirt & Decals--- can get it from smicerboy...Polo T $13.00...decals $3.00 per piecespeedometer---i suggest u prepare for the day...coz mine juz started acting weird....

 

By the way, did anyone go to the SBF anniversary...so how is it?....

petrol for new bike n u got alot of $$$ juz use v-power but use ron 98 oso can but budget use ron 95 esso red ah last me a week..i tried almost all except bp...cuz 125cc not much power feelin...hehehe! use additive to protect ya engine since its new...

 

side box u want i can help u order cuz i am waiting for stock to come in around 16 jan $250-$280 depend on shop juz the bracket, box separate need ,more $$$ but u gotta get used to ya bike cuz side box more weight n balacing skill is required if ya still inexperience rider....

i really gotta do up my bike for new year...hehehe!

 

varas as long as TP not behind u while riding a bike wif spoil speedo means ya still in legal pace...hehe!
