Bro, don't worry abt Lesson 8. Just remember these salient points:-

 

1. Do not wobble when moving from stationary. Rev up more and use rear brakes to control. Wobbling will cost you a lot of points.

 

2. ALWAYS remember to check back...and in the right direction ie. away from kerb. As long bike is stationary and taking off, check back.

 

3. Check blind spots too and be consistent.

 

4. Remember to LOOK confident. This will give the instructors confidence to pass you too.

 

Hope you will clear L8 soon.

 

As for 1st hand, get from Boon Siew. The warranty terms seem good.

Consider 2nd hand, bro.

Hmm ok. Saw on cub kia today..the sticker damn cute...it says 1 YanDao, 1 PAX.

Your brakes are really becoming bad to worst. Have you spoken to Wady San and ask him to test out the top speed. I was also wondering what makes you so sure the rears are locking. If really locking, first of all, there will be slight burning smell. And also, the pads would have wear down significantly more. If the pistons are sticking at the caliper, bleeding would not help much.

I have been considering 2nd Vara too. . But for 2nd Hand I think I need to wait patiently for the right seller with the right bike condition I guess. So for now 1st hand seems fine I guess.

 

Bascially, I see that the Vara fufills all my needs as a Tour Bike. Just that I need more experience. . . Pract 8 coming on this coming Monday. . . haha hope I clear it and off I go for my TP.

I must twist my neck more on my blind spots ... haha I was thinking of installing signal lights sensors on my **** instead .. so when I turn my head it would indicate so and that STRICT instructors at SSDC would see it clearly from their OAKLEY sunglasses! Oops ~ no punt intended ~

Bro, sometimes they never see you check blind spot although you did...this is LPPL situation. Anyway, take more CR. I took like 8 CR b4 I take L8. Clear first time.

another 6 more CRs and clear TP first time too. I reckoned it is cheaper to take CR than to take lessons as they cost more.

Yesterday I was approaching a juntion somewhere at Tampines... the traffic light was green, traffic was flowing smothly and just as soon as I passed the junction, the red light camera flashed very wildly!! I dunno whether it's taking the pics of the cars driving beside me of worse, taking the pics of my bike!! But the traffic light was green mah....

 

Is it testing its flash at night? Or maybe spoilt? Scarry boy coz I still under probation so dun want to kena point for nothing....
