Hi all;

 

An update on my stalling problems. I've been commuting into Raffles place from the east coast every day without any problems; once I got used to revving it quite high when moving off its been running fine. So I take the blame for my three embarrasing stallings on Sunday! My apologies to the board for letting motorists see someone pedaling a chugging varadero to the side of the road!

 

My shopping list is now for crashbars; a stebel horn (I need it!); a centre stand; a tankbra and an undercowl.

I would like to get it all installed in one place: where is the best place to start: BikeTech, or Boon Siew? Any recommendations?

* Battery was just changed (1 months + ago)

Nothing has been modified, all electrical are stock, all parts are stock. Bike has been to KL and Genting once, and then it just has been going to Jurong West and Clementi on a daily basis. in short (its mileage is just 63,000 ++ km only)

Sniff ~ sad sia ... There goes Visual ....techwhiz, never get to meet up though.

 

By the way, I noticed when I am riding at around 60km/hr .... I can hear the chain sound especially when I am slowing down.. Most of the time when I step down to Gear 3 then the chain sound comes. Izzit common? or is my chain too slack?

An Invitation To All

 

This is an invitation to all riders tuning in to this forum. We will be organising our yearly BIG trip. This year we will be heading to Thailand, Phuket. The dates have already been confirmed. We will be setting off on the 8th of December 06 till the 15th of December. There will be a stopover at Hatyai.

All riders, be it big or small cc bikes, interested to submit/PM your names to Al-Simmons or myself for us to settle some administration stuffs. We will have a meeting for all riders on the upcoming week. Do include your nick, tel no to us so that we could inform you on the meeting dates.

Does anyone know what does a spoiler do and how does it help on the Vara? I asked Hideaway a few days ago and he told me its just for show but i am thinking a $120 spolier will not only for that right. SO anyone can enlighten me?

 

And BTW how much a the center stand selling at??
