good news is that if u decide to sell it you don't really lose a lot of money.. what u lose is 6kg on your bike.. gains would be noise.. better pickup and better fuel consumption..

hi guys. i'm psyk's friend, met some of you at shell 2 nights ago. anyway, he asked me

to introduce this to you, maybe more for those without scottoilers

something to do with cleaning your chain, it's called kettenmax.

i'll let the pictures do the talking:

product website

kettenmax at webbike world

used on a v-strom

it retails at 29euros or about $60

have contacted motovation about this, his current quote is $75 including 5% gst for

5-10 orders. price may be lower after he confirms with kettenmax. anyone? i'm getting

one to share with my riding buddy.

pm me if you're interested.

cheers~

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:

i also want to try to remove vara fairing and add mirror to the fairing, just as vara 07. I'll be using yamaha tzm mirror as starting .. will post photo when done..

vara bros, found a really good item. that's the Limbat's High Powered LED T10 bulb. Here's the link:

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forum/index....c=119597&st=690

I myself had bought a pair (red) for the pole lite or some call it position lite. Its really really bright. It also seem to consume lesser current compare to my previous normal bulbs (that is according to my voltmeter). Im really pleased with the purchase and will be buying a couple more for the signal lights. The unknown is whether it would last, but so far, so good. Been using it for about a week now. Will post pics, in due course (By the way, I'm not moonlighting)

Anyway, for any bro who is looking for cheapo helmets. I am selling my unused Mfizz. Take a look :-

Flareon1982 > White or yellow colour should be legal. But red or blue is definitely not. If Im not wrong, it would cost a fine of S$30/=

let me clarify..

scottoiler: ensuring a lubed chain

kettenmax: chain cleaning

i'm sure the function of the scottoiler is quite well known.

the kettenmax is a tool to help make chain cleaning less troublesome and messy. & if

you look at the pics, i think it does a fine job.. without a scottoiler, chain cleaning is

much more critical.

cheers~

in short, scottoilers are for lazy people like me...toobez...iswady...embrace...butcher.. and other vara bros here...

kettenmax for people who have more time with the bike...

one good thing bout kettenmax...u can share with other people..

trully useful during mass washing of bikes...

for those always going touring...i recommend to use the scottoiler..

it won't hurt spending a bit more...

I use my old coldgate toothbrush (minus the toothpaste) n residual engine oil to clean the chain. Good also for brushing off sands and crud at tight areas like fins and hard to reach area.
