Wats done on normal service?...Engine oil with oil filter changed?..How about sparkplugs?..How about injectors?..when was the last time you cleaned and send it for spary pattern and metering test?...I assume its done too..do a compression test on the bike, low compression can cause hard starting...make sure its up to specs...

By looking at ur profile your riding a FI busa rite?...

I had/still have the exact same problem as you. Until i changed my carb and starter motor. Engine is easier to start up but, still not easy.

The spark from the spark plus is very weak when i use my electric start, even with the new starter motor.

Compression is okay. Starter motor, rectifier and carb is new. Magnetic coil changed 2 years ago. Kick start produces a very strong spark.

I have to crank my engine 1 - 2 times for the engine to start. Anything longer, and it almost will never start.

So like EH-HEH x1 or x2. Wait a few seconds. Repeat.

its an electrical issue, eg. weak batt, starter motor, alternator.

nothing to do with servicing or airfilters.

provided the current no. of cranks n time to start is not the norm

12.8V at idle?

12.8V minimium when everything is off.

13V , engine running with headlights on.

13.5V , engine running, headlight off

erm.... my bike

(without starting engine)

Just electric @ 12.00 ~ 12.50 volts

When Engine is On @ 14.01 volts(after 20secs)

When engine is on with headlights 13+ volts

but i know if ur batt stays below 12volts after 1 hour after a journey = batt is fail

U might want to check the health of ur rectifier. The figures u give is abit off. (not sure if it's bike specific.)

Hook on a volt meter and go for a ride. See what is the max volt at high rev. Voltage should not exceed 15.5 at max rev.

The batt at 12-12.5 volts also seems wierd. A fully charge batt is supposed to be 12.8 to 13v. It will be good to take it out and charge with a trickle charger for a day and see.

IF still 12-12.5v after charging or drop to that after a day. It means ur batt can't hold charge already.

my batt shouldnt be a problem, just like fleas...

starter, crank normally...

Then just that when i crank, i hold there for 5 secs still hard to start up... crank until batt gg low or crank for 5-7times for it to start then the engine start running

In Singapore, the majority of us live in Highly Dangerous Buildings (<u>HDB</u>),

And most people have already got used to Paying and Paying (<u>PAP</u>).

Not only do you have to pay, you Pay Until Bankrupt (<u>PUB</u>).

If that's not enough, somebody still Purposely Wants to Dig (<u>PWD</u>) and get

more from you.

So what more can you do when you are in the Money Only Environment (<u>MOE</u>)?
