Frankly i'm not sure. Actually decided to get Pulsar 200ns but later frds advise better to get yamaha as more reliable. My consideration was good FC n since both FC about the same(i heard n read from online review). The OTR price quoted by Universal motor(Pulsar dealer) was a little higher then fz16 quoted by imotoring(just a few shops away from Universal motor). Therefore finally got fz16

Crazy thing is i didnt even hv a good look at the bike cos i didnt know there are so many version of fz16. lol.... Trusted my frd so when was told fz16 better choice than 200ns, i just went for it w/o taking to much notice on bike details.

Also to clarify, i am 38 years old so maybe my insurance a little lower than younger ppl. ;)

Anyway, i realised that fz16 comes with mrf(if i'm not wrong) tyres, which is same as pulsar 200ns. And i hv read on pulsar forum that its highly recommended to change the tyres as they r not suitable for s'pore roads. skid easily i think. Since fz16 tyre same as 200ns, do i need to change them to other tyres? Anyone can advise?

FC = Fuel Consumption

FZ16 $7.3k

200ns about $7.8k

Yes you are correct *ding dong ding dong*

Bro, Is not a need to change your tyres. Is a good to change.

Depend who advise you took from..

A racer will definitely change to soft tyre.

A uncle will ask you, why change?? LOL

u decide for your choice, is your own pocket $$$. No offense.

I've been using stock tyre for the 1yr, since i 1st took over the bike(1st hand).

I using it for transportation.. A ---> B, B --> home and etc.

New tyres have a layer of wax to preserve the tyre during storage. It is the wax that cause it to skid..

Jus ride carefully for the first 500km~~700km

Thks for the info, anyway I wanna ask i m 27 yrs old and my insurance third party cost348, the OTR for fz16 quoted is $7780 is it ex?

Bro..

That price is consider normal.. LOL

i got my bike(Gen2) abt 7600 (a yr ago, 2K COE, insurance third party abt $500)

Best is try ask a few bike shop.. see wat the price difference, loan interests, convenient or not.

if you cant decide on which bike, take it easy.

go to showroom, try sit on the bike.. have a feel.. Which one u like it most. hehe.

Hi, i'm not very sure about that. I'm 38 yrs old and i dont know how much my insurance is. ;p Like i mentioned, i knew nothing about buying a bike.

Both the price quote to me was with insurance included. ie thats the final price i'm paying. The only diff is both quote with $1.5k coe. so if tmr coe higher than $1.5k. then i have to pay the diff.

Thanks for the info. The bike shop told me same thing n mentioned that there are ppl riding with stock tyres for up to 1.5yrs without problem.

Just wanna get more opinion and sensing on the ground. I using for transport to n fro work only too n would prefer spending less too.

But safety 1st so if there real problem then better to be safe than sorry.... hehe.....
