When you are moving off? Or when you change gear? If it only happens when you change gear, then it gotta be your chain.

It happens only when i accelerate/open throttle aggressively. For example i wanna overtake a car. i will throttle more . den this jerking **** happens. its very annoying.

Jerk one time or multiple time? If jerk only one time at the initial point when you Start to throt more, then its your chain. Get it tighten and your problem will be solved!

 

If multiple jerk, then there must be something wrong already. Please have it check and update us here!

Hi everyone, collected my fz16 this afternoon. Was excited at first until I realized whenever I press the front brake there are some weird sound(dont know how to describe) and its quite obvious and when the bike is running, there r some metal grinding sound too. However, when I put the bike to main stand and run the bike there is no such sound that I describe. And by the time I realized, the bike shop already closed, have to endure till Monday already. Is all these normal?

Collected my bike yesterday, i realised same problem too..... am a bike noob so i dont even know where to look..... anyone can help us???

Also, can anyone tell me if its normal for the front brake pads to be touching the disc when brake level is not applied? Cos i realised that when i try to spin the front tyre, the brake pads are still in contact therefore front tyre not spinning freely. Can that be the problem for the funny sound when applying front brake??

I cant say is normal.. but u not the only bike tat brake disc make contact at some point whn u turn the wheel.... mayb u like to ask mechinic abt it ? Or bike u bought from..

 

Yes, whn using front brake it does give funny tones... lol why, i duno why.. all fz16 are like tat... lol

OK, my sharing for FC.(finally finishing my 1st full tank)

 

Got my bike which was running in reserve mode. Topped up full tank, slightly more than 12L of SPC 95 gas.

Fuel meter started blinking at about 420km. Looked into fuel tank and indeed was quite empty.

Will be running till dry n engine stall n see wat mileage can reach. (will not test reserve till dry though..hahaha..)

will update again.....

average 36~42km/L..

OK, my bike started to "cough"( running out of fuel) when trip meter at 460km.

Went to top up fuel and only able to squeeze in 11L into tank.

Therefore FC calculated to be 41.8km/L (460km/11L)

Not bad i suppose. ;p

Mine work out to be about 40km/L. Btw, is it compulsory to display road tax? Where do u all display it? Sorry noob here.
