Guys, have anyone converted your brakes to brembo? Kinda interested to upgrade the stock brakes. Was also interested in yoshimura exhaust but realised that it's not approved for ST yet...

Stock brakes are Brembo already what.. Just that it's called BYBRE (indian brembo). please do tell me if your yoshi is legal and certified by STA!!!

Wonder has anyone here bring their FZ16 ST to get the exhaust approved before. Really don't want to go through the trouble and yet not getting it approved.

As long as u never adjust the carburetor, it should be fine..

 

I've fixed K&N filter, engine feel "breathe smoothly". while using OEM paper filter, can feel engine struggling for air.

 

downside, Fuel comsuption is slighty lower 36~38km/L, originally was 38~40km/L.

Finally got rid of the dreadful silver portion of the bike that I hated most! Solid work by juzzwheels.

My bike started having this weird symptom this few days, every time I try to start the bike with ignition after turning the key off and on again, the 1st ignition try comes with no response, as in you do not even hear the spinning sound when you press the ignition button, I have to press the ignition button a 2nd or 3rd time before the bike will try to start the engine. Does anybody has this symptom or know what is going on with my bike?

for this problem, i check with a mechnic, should be the starter motor relay...

why snapped.. is the stress the cable handled.

I've used mine for 18mths, before a change. It get hard to pull the clutched.

 

is abt $20 for the part.

It has already been 14mths and 20000km. So i supposed its a routine to change clutch and throttle cable at certain intervals?

I guess you're right. i did change my throttle n clutch cable alrdy..
