@Fredd, Wah bro, haha.. i think abit unsafe for afew of the 2Bs Fz to go over lol... I heard my friend's suggestion when riding over to JB for workshop/food/kopi session must be extra careful and bike must be always be within ur vision. But still dont really dare to go over... lol.

There u go. If im not wrong, his sets are 110front, 150rear stated from previous post. Guess he just bought the tyres and fixed it? Anyway above quoted were from post #182.

 

Can we really fix in a 150 at the rear? I heard from unique motor de mech, they say 150 might hit the rear hugger.

Bro i just go on sunday. Wat you is true. He say thing come ard 1 month or so. I will go again on saturday to fix so called rxz chin, i tink. It cost 85 rm without clr or 95 rm with clr. the design quite nice. i see they have red, black and black.

Anyone knows if one up size is standard. ie. the FZ front goes from 100 to 110, the offset is also reduced from 80-70? Likewise for the rear?

 

Must get the sizing right as not only it will affect the handling, the odometer/speedo readings will be off.

I think the going rate right now is probably around the $7.5k mark less insurance. I believe it will easily hit $8k if you add it in for 3rd party fire and theft.

 

As for used FZ16, I think it would be hard to come by. Since on this topic, I wonder how is the depreciation like for bikes in general especially after the COE hike by almost 1.5k in just last 3 months. Maybe bike owners might get back what they paid for 3 months ago especially for smaller cc bikes.

 

Just for info, the FZ is about 2-3 months OTR in SG only.

Name i duno bro..over at agl too many shops..aft u exit custom gt e shell on the left..do not filter there to go towards pelangi..instead..go to e flyover..keep left n u will see danga mall..filter der n at e junction turn rite. Keep left n keep a lookout for a filter lane which leads to e row of shophouses

Haha bro, maybe we can hold a trip to jb with u big bro leading us there xD. But must wait till most of the ppl run-in their bike. Like mine, it's still yet to fully run in. now at 500km mark nia. lol.

Hey bro, Sorry to said, i didnt continued the mini MO for KRP due to certain things that we did not wan to remove from our bike.

Anyway, for ur info, if u going to purchase the front fender, u are required to remove ur original fender and fix in their short mini front fender before u can actually install their upper fender. U can drop them a mail to ask for the quotation. It should be ard 75$ +- Shipping cost, i'm not sure about it. Think twice before purchasing it Oh ya, lastly, all installation to be done by own.

FZ16 the meter is only abit off, its about 4~6km/hr off actual speed..

so hitting 120+ its quite not bad liao..

though its still not wat many rider wan/expect la... hahaha

gd to see alot of guys modding the outlook of the bike..=) but arent u guys worried abt warranty becoming void.. coz i wanted to paint my rims gold when i bought it and the bike shop told me not to do any major mod coz yamaha might not take baq the bike if anything serious occurs.. =(

Hmm, so it's ard 5% off? I heard normally digital meter's accuracy is ard 95-97% while normal meter is up till 90-93%. I believe there definitely will be some off due to alot of other possibilities affecting the meter's accuracy.

Bro, The warranty is only for engine parts. Outlook damages/painting is not included in the warranty. I believe parts like handlebar,brake/clutch levers, tyres(Maybe), seats all this are not included as well. Rim spraying definitely wont affect the warranty. Not sure brake system is included or not. Maybe u can go down to HL to ask whether which parts are not covered. But from wat i know normally engine is covered in the warranty onli.

seems like the digital meter has too many probs.. wrong speed la, show petrol level wrongly la.. best way to test the meter is to ride at those expressway exits where they have this digital speed indicator showing ur vehicle speed.. coz my cars speedo is always same as the indicator..
