My bad experience with LAB

slowrider just stated that if you buy something, the responsibility's on you to check the goods before you accept.

somehow he got accused for using "dirty words". after reading his post a few times over, the "dirtiest" word i could find was bloody. he was also accused of being low educated and wife getting raped.

 

well, all i can say is serve you right for the crap you got from LAB. this post is probably uncalled for, but i really find that all this mindless flaming and worse, cursing someone else's wife to get raped, is utterly disgusting. so who's the one using "dirty words" here?

I went in LAB to ask for a visor for my zues helmet.

Wanted a tinted one original but they say dun hav.

So they gave me a clear one and say this is original.

 

I dun know how original or chiong one looks like as it's my wife who ask me to buy.

All the while i left the visor in the box...2 wks later decided to take it out give my wife fix it on her helment. Then she told me this is not original one.

 

I checked many times wif them whther they pass me the original one coz I dont want the chiong one and they say this is the original one.

 

Well, I realised that it is indeed not the original one as it cannot be fitted onto the helmet properly and got big lobang on top...if rain, you will be like standing in a waterfall....

 

So, tell me, this is not cheating? then maybe we call it swindling lah...

 

Perhaps I shld just blame myself for trusting their words...but then again, dun understand y they wanna do this to customers...

 

But I will still buy from there as got alot of stuffs there, just be more alert.

anyway even some high end helmets' shell are the same size, just the inner paddings and cushions are changed to either a thicker or thinner one for a better fit.

hahaha...me also kena before but lucky i spoted before he could cheat me..

 

i ask him for a pro taper handle bar...he say have... then i wait as usual..wait long long. then he give me a handle bar...red colour somemore..i ask this original or not he said no... i ask how much he say $85....i shock...i ask orginal one..got anot he say have but must wait next week.. then i ask how much for the original one he said $60 i more shock... then i say thank you bye bye... until to this day.. i'm never buying any performance stuff from him again.. unless its like helmet bag ok lah...

This happened exactly to mi once b4...but instead of wanting a M size helmet, i asked for the Zeus Ram2 look-alike S size. At 1st the skinny lao zarbor at LAB say no stock, but the SI PUI THI pig pig pig pig JACKY come n say got stock but told mi muz wait. As all the Zeus Ram2 look-alike all display at the top shelves, those dat u can see, the SI PUI THI pig pig pig pig JACKY use his rod n pick up a Size M box from outside, den go back to his "hole" n dig n dig n dig. After wad it seems like 99yrs, he reappeared wif the helmet, wif the Size sticker seen clearly tampered with, n handed the helmet to mi.

 

KNNz, i noe wad pattern they play, but i juz wan a S size Zeus Ram2 Look-alike. And i also noe the diff between Size S n Size M lies in the cheek pads. The cheek pads do haf a untampered "S" sticker on it, so i noe i've gotten wad i wan.

 

AND ITS TOTALLY NO POINT ARGUING WITH EITHER the SI PUI THI pig pig pig pig JACKY, or any of LAB pple, cos he 1 word u 1 word, they machiam like 7th Month wayang lidat. wahaha...u'll juz haf to stand there, listen to their wayang, n feel like a complete idiot.

 

Moral of story : Get those no-need-to-wait stuffs like 2T or other small stuff from him still can, but KNNz the moment he ask u to wait, I rather pay more elsewhere to spare myself from all the crap that they'll b giving mi...

Anyhoo, I've NEVER been to LAB B4 and never will. Why put oneself through the agony of waiting, only to be cheated in return? Unless you know the pattern they always pull and is streetwise about it. I, for one, ain't.

u are absolutely correct. I only buy things from him when I know it is cheaper. I dont believe anything of his items are original. As such, if u wan original things, pay a bit more where u feel comfortable.

regarding lab huh.. besides the occasional long waiting time n the yaya attitude of the people i really dont see the pt of not going there to get stuffs like raincoat etc la...but den again..for stuffs like what u guys have said. helm etc i think go to a better shop is better lor..cos from what i heard from the same brand of helm let say OGK with the same sizing let say S u get 2 diff weighing helm..dunno how true it is...any comments guys? n to those who have bad xp with LAB...i think take it as a lesson lar... only can blame yrself being suay lor..other than that..who else to blame..right? all of us surely got 1 or 2 times kana tock 1..its just how serious is the wound..thats all..

Actually ask yourself you want cheap or not, if you want cheap, dont complain poor service. Want good service, there are other place but more expensive of course. If you managed to find a place as cheap and good service...tell me I also want to go.

He's cheap, but you gotta keep your eyes peeled for what he's passing to you and watch out for any underhanded tricks. When I was new to biking, I almost got sideswiped by LAB over the prices of a Phantom chain & sprocket set (prices quoted the day before and the next day jumped by nearly $100 for the same thing). So now, I'm more wiser when dealing with them...

Look, before you buy the helmet , at least LAB let you try until you are satified before you accept the helmet.

 

You have inspected the goods, agreeded upon the price, tried the helmet for fitting and after that go and complain for don't know what!

You pay for an Arai helmet, you GET an Arai helmet! Full stop! Not some cheap ass imitation that you've tried on, tested, seen, touched and THOUGHT was really an Arai. What are we, professional testers? NO! We're customers, and we expect to GET what we PAID for! What if I've never had or touched an Arai helmet before, coz I just got my licence and looking forward to buying one. Would I know HOW an Arai helmet looks or feels like?!? Same goes for sizes, would I know?

 

It is the shop's RESPONSIBILITY to give people what they have PAID FOR!

 

I -do not- understand why you can say that LAB was unfortunate to get a customer like him!!

You wait another 15 minutes and finally get your food, albeit by a sh*t-faced bast*rd who doesn't even have the decency to say, "Sorry for being late" and expects you to pay up.

 

Worse of all, you notice that you were given fried rice, not chicken rice, as you have ordered."

It is, FIRST AND FOREMOST, the RESPONSIBILITY of the SHOP to sell what it is supposed to be selling, genuine items. If he DID however mention that what he was selling was recond-ed, or refurbished, or was just simply chiong, okay, fair enough.

 

But no, the items were SUPPOSED to be BRAND NEW and GENUINE articles!
