Had a wonderful weekend getaway.....from you guys, ha ha!!! :cheeky:

 

Left GP Esso at 0630am, and it's a 3hr ride, with a stop in between at Pagoh. Then we had brunch at Seremban, before we check in the hotel. Got our room at 1115hrs, dump our stuffs (suit and stuffs), then head out to setup the bikes for track. Took a well deserved shower, and we headed out at 1330hrs.

 

1st trackday starts at 1400~1700hrs. I got blasted by everyone, and I was hella slow, learning a new track. It's scary at first cuz this track is not like PG....there's lots of place where you can really blast down the corners, but at certain turns, you have to jam brake like mad and downshift to gear 2 and there's Turn 9, known as the Nike Turn, you have to down shift to gear 1 from maybe gear 4 or 5. SHIOK!!! You can see I almost overshoot T9 on Sun and I fcuked up T9 more than 50%, as I keep getting into the corner in gear 2 instead of 1.

 

So after trackday on Sat, we head back, shower and then jump into the pool. Had cold beer (it's was damn sunny!!! Hot but good for track!) and after the swimming pool, we had another shower before meeting up for dinner. After dinner, relax at the lounge, and had red wine (courtesy of Raptor), chitchat. Got tired and went back to sleep, all of us.

 

Sun, woke up at 7am, had Continental Breakfast. Not bad, good food!!! It's part of the hotel that we paid for. Got back to room, last minute rush to restroom, and it's time to get ready.....for Round 2!!!

 

Trackday on Sun starts at 9am....all the way until 12pm. All in all, I clocked 100km in the track on each day.....very happy!

 

These 2 days, we see some Asia Pac racer, and most importantly, 2 MotoGP 250cc which belongs to some China team. Yes, we may be laughing at them when they come in last during the ShangHai GP as wildcard entries, but for the 2 days, these 250cc are killing all the 1000cc bikes in Sepang. Straights, corners, late braking....the MotoGP 250cc are just killing everyone. They should be Aprilias, my guess. Now who is laughing? I was left in awe at the power and handling of these Quater Litre MotoGP machines, and of course, their riders.

 

After trackday, went back hotel, shower and had lunch at the hotel. Left at 1400hrs, sadly.

 

1900hrs I'm home liao. Nothing much to talk about journey back....sian. Holiday over already :sian: Who wants to come back? Hope they have like a stretch of 4 trackdays, so we could stay there for like Mon to Sat.

 

Spend RM100 for each trackday, RM90 for hotel room, RM160 for petrol, makan, drinks.
