My Shark retired liao....cushion mi liao, cannot get replacement cuz helmet too 'retro'. Using a Shoei and KBC Vr2, which Shoei got clear visor for nightshift and KBC with smoked visor for dayshift. Also an old OGK Aeroblade for track.

 

Over here quite hard to get comfy helmet because of the angmor 'lemon head' shape. Asians prefer the Jap version. Lots of affordable online helmet deals but I had to return because of sizing or damaged while shipping. Imagine my KBC is Large in order to be comfortable. Shoei, Arai I normally wear Small or Medium.

 

So what do I do? I do the Singaporean pattern, try at shops for sizing, then buy online, wahahahahaha!!!! Can save up to 50% sometimes.

Track was good, but very very hot, as if like in PG/Sepang. I was sweating like mad, and brought too little water. Last track was way comfortable, so I was complence, had only 2 Gatorate with me. No enuff....latter had to go around asking ppl for water.

 

As it was soooooo hot, I only did a total of 90 miles race distance....weak. Last track did a hundred miles in the track. As usual 5 laps or more....the most I could do was 8 laps, had to pit in and cool off.

 

Also, I kana a speeding ticket driving up there....NB...I think next track (Hopefully Sep or Oct) I wanna borrow my fren's truck and bring the bike there myself. This way I cannot speed and surely will not get ticket Was clocked at 88mph, but sheriff quote me 80mph, lucky. The fine would be USD$174 and had to go traffic school to take away my demerit points. If not, my insurance would be way more expensive for the next 3 yrs.

Used to.....and hardly anyone would go. Lollipop very on, but now he riding Fazer, he dun go liao. Did a Kup trackday with him before in PG.

 

Deyang, never track with him before because timing not right, but he sure rides faster and harder than me in PG. My biggest regret is not riding with him in PG before I come here.

 

MichaelRR, did a couple of tracks with me.

 

Shaun, ahhh.....what can I say.....after I got him to go with me, that guy could chase me down on his DRZ-SM. He made me go SM here in USA, and he go Nusa Jaya nowadays.

 

Who else......? Piglet and Tyrain became my pitcrew once before

 

Have fun! Deyang and Shuan would be your best choice to jio for track. What kindda pace you lapping? I only can do personal best 2 flat (aka slow).

ER....it's gonna be a "motard lookalike" bike. Other than that, the stock rear shock very bad, very soft. I could bottom out by bouncing on the bike.

 

My personal opinion, DRZ-SM would be a better bike compared to KLX. Those extra CCs on the KLX dun seems to have any effect pitting against the DRZ-SM because KLX is a pig.

 

And, of course, DRZ-SM is the weakest motard in terms of power and weight in the SM world. Unless you have deep pockets like Raptor. So imagine how you will feel when you get the KLX.

 

Dun....pls dun take over other ppl's problem.
