Hey, I added both of you...

 

That time I got the 09 at the launch of the 2010 model at the dealership hoping for a good deal, and sure enough, my friend (who is a loyal customer and the one who sold me the 08 to get his 09) was able to get for me USD$12k OTR without insurance. Insurance for old man like me is USD$115 monthly.

 

2010 model was USD$14k then without tax, registration and insurance. Tax here is 8.5%.

Ride safe guys...a veteran rider in his 50s lowsided last Sat and fell off a 80 ft cliff. He succumb to injuries not from the crash, but injuries from the fall. Even though he was heli evac, it's not enough to save him. Said rider (Gary Jaehne) is an AFM Racer with race/championship wins, trackday instructor and a passionate biker who is well known and respected by the community around my area. He's never selfish to lend a hand mechanically, may it be wrenching or setting up of suspensions. He had written 2 books on riding techniques and is a big part of Bay Area Riders Forum. Known to be super smooth and fast with his Ninja 250 (4 stroke) in the twisties, and one of the few guys that will still ride pretty fast in the twisties on a rainy day.

 

I've seen him at the tracks, but never know him in person. He would be riding at 10 sec faster than me per lap, and I am not qualified to ride in his group just yet(Group A). A close fren had bought a spare ZX-10R rim from him and Gary did not make any profit off him, because he knew my fren will be using it for race tyres.

 

Good guy, but yet things like this still happens. Ride safe all.
