No.. never did that.

What I did was stiffened the preload spring fo the rear absorber shock. The standard setting was too soft for my liking for track riding.

As it is... you will notice that when you sit on the bike.. the back will sink more than the front.. what I actually did was to stiffen up the back suspension till they both sink at about the same rate.. then I up the damping and rebound by 2 clicks to the harder setting.

The bike looks jacked up coz the tailight and number plate is small.

Did it myself.

Experienced gained from setting the CBR1000RR for track riding and was taught by Shah of Biketech21 on how to do it.

What may be a good setup for me, may not work for you coz it depends on your weight basically and the way you ride the bike on the track and also on the kind of tyres you have on.

Read about it here.... this is how I started. Its all a trial and error thing with the damping and rebound adjustments being set through many track sessions.

Puhlenty of info here at this Thumpertalk web site. Below is a link from the website

talking about the kinds of mods and accessories that can be done to a DRZ. I have ordered many things from them already... now waiting for the EBC oversized front disc brake and jetting kit. Looking at the STM slipper clutch now... very tempting indeed.

Please take note that the EBC oversized brake rotor will not work on a DRZ400SM. It is meant for the DRZ400S forks not the SMs.

Its cheap for me to reject and send back the items here...but not for you guys back in Singapore.
