Schuberth C3 for me...

World's Quietest Modular Helmet...

Does anyone knows how does Schuberth C3 compared to an Arai helmet? Arai Profile in particular.

I'm concerned with comfort and helmet size. I had Arais (been through 5 of them) for many years already and find it most comfortable. The helmet also doesn't make my head look too big unlike Nolans or AGVs. Buffetting at high speeds for Arais is also minimal. Problem with Arais is that they tend to disintegrate after a year, especially the neck roll area. So thinking of making a change to Schuberth.

FYI... I happened to be around the area, so I popped into the shop across from Regina (branch of Chong Aik, forgot the name now). They have PSB-approved Multitecs for $550. This was without bargaining, not sure if the price is fixed or negotiable.

I was about to buy the Multitec when I found out that the main lining cannot be taken out. :|

Its strange, isnt it? Fully removable liners are so common now and yet, a $500 helmet does not have this feature.

Sure, you can wear a balaclava before you don the helmet, but I wash my helmet liners every now and then even I use a balaclava daily.

With Singapore's weather in mind, a helmet with non-removable liner is right at the bottom of my list.

Errrrmmm... are you SURE? o_O I've had a Multitec for 3 years now and can confirm the liners the fully removable. Unless something has changed radically in the past 3 years, or the shop assistant doesn't know how to take them out o_O

Thanks for your input!

I searched several reviews and most indicates only the cheekpads being removable only.

This one from Shark have the advantage that the chin guard can be rotated out of the way totally. Seems to have pretty good review too.
