Do you mean a radar gun? Anyway its not that difficult for them to judge your speed. They got their speedo the compare with your speed. hahah.

Few days ago, along PIE, I saw something very amusing but I was too late to take out my camera.

 

A WRX was stopped at the shoulder by a TP aunty on a scooter. Hope it is not for speeding

i normally horn or high beam and they give way between lane 1 & 2.

Back then probably a few years back, TP on motorcycles do not have laser equipped speed gun, so they rely on their speedo to see what's the speed the offender is doing. (It was in the papers some time back when they first intorduced the bike mounted laser speed gun for TP)

 

I guess probably if any cop wants, he just need to do the same and estimate the speed you are at using his car's speedo.

 

If you are talking about regular cop cars, next time just do a proper overtake and dont zoom past.

Cos you never know.

nowaday catching speeding vehicle has gone hi-tech, they just point their device across the road, bam, any speeding vehicle will be captured. ur plate num, speed exceed will be captured. no need for them to do dangerous chase n stop u give summon. thus u see those tp on the road shoulder, sometimes hiding, they can eat snake while the device do the work.

3 wheeler r not tp, they r lta road marshal. but dont know if they catch speeding vehicles though.

NPP cars can catch any road offenders too, they cant issue summon, but will fw the offence to tp.

Yup saw a number of time that police car stop bike for speeding on small road... so better don play play...
