Hmmm... Apparently there are no replacement footrest for the raider? The originals are a little low, and the way they've been designed, no other pegs will fit this set up.

Confirm raider R. Today test seat on the bike, looks ok. when you on start the key, the RPM will move from 0 to 13k then back to 0 again. same as super4 vtec2 and above. one thing good when you ride the meter will not block yr view because it small size and quite low. your view seem "bigger".

 

exhaust sound so so, what you expect from cub bike. underseat compartment - 0 liter. cant put anything. battery MF type, so they can put it lie down. head light got 2, top for normal riding, bottom for high beam... got both electric start and kick start.

 

today go ASP test bike. Definitely get one, but wait till good price. Currently. the bike NOT APPROVED by LTA yet, they still waiting for the process, Get now also still need to wait, but most shop have sample bike and open for booking liao. Tyre IRC "WINGS". Is this tyre bad as all IRC tyre or better? ELse need to change imediately.

oh.. i only bid for coe 1st... get a new number plate for my vfr, cos i am selling it away but retaining my old number... i havn't decide on what bike to buy.

I was quoted 4.3k machine price. And that's first quote "special" angmoh price so I'm sure it can be pushed considerably lower.

bigger fuel tank 16 litres, bigger 17" tyres 110/70 front n 140/60 rear....if only we can exchange engine in sillypore.

errr... I disagree. The centre of gravity bikes like this is SUPER low so they corner like you wouldn't believe.

Plus this bike weighs only 95kgs dry so the acceleration is going to be much better.

The tyre size on this bike considering its weight is adequate so long as you buy good quality rubber.

 

The only thing I do think sucks is the 4.9 Lt fuel tanks. Anyway, that's a minor point.

 

Note that Suzuki do put this engine in another bike which is very similar to the Honda CBR150.

It's called the FXR150 and weighs about 118kgs with a 15 Lt Fuel tank.

These bikes are quite common in Malaysia so engine parts and servicing for the raider 150 should be cheap if you're that way inclined.

80/90 front n 100/90 rear tyres on fxr, still can't beat 110/70 front n 140/60 rear.

roadwin corner like train on tracks, only problem it got a 125cc engine but the new model has improve hp with 140cc engine.

just luv the raider's engine , it looks different from fxr.

Bike is around 4.5k OTR depending on age etc and where you buy.

Very similar pricing to a Honda CBR150R
