my 2b and class 3 has passed the probation period.

 

i just recently got my 2a. so now my class 2b and 3 is 24 points. whereas my 2a is 13 points.

 

so if i exceed the 13 points now, only my 2a is revoked? or all classes including 2b and 3 will revoked?

u noe how all these licences are under one card? coz its a single license. right now you have 12 point limit, full stop. get 4 points while riding a 2b bike, another 4 points while driving the car, buy new 2a bike tio 4 points..... boomz license suspension for all.

I got this info from an instructor from bbdc. as long as you pass a new license, it means that all classes of licenses would be set to a maximum of 12 points. so now that you got your 2A, it means even your class 2B and 3 are back to 12 points. if you exceed the 12 points mark means all your license revoked. only thing is when you drive or ride a 2b bike no need to display P plate.

yup. that's right. as long as you just obtained a new license, 2,3 etc you will be reduced to 12 points for a year. accumulate 13 points and more your ALL license will be revoked.

i think there are special cases whereby certain licenses are kept apart from the vehicle you were caught (eg speed on your 2a bike but manage to keep your car license), BUT just ASSUME that ALL licenses will be revoked, i think such cases as above are rare and few.

u can get revoked for 1 lic only, if u were charged by TP.

if u go court n charged by judge, all lic revoked.

 

however i'm not sure under what circumstances u get charge by TP only, however some bros confirm it's possible to get 1 class revoked.

i remember reading in one of the threads about a person who got his 2A revoked but managed to keep his 2B because he needs to ride bike for his job as a despatch rider.

true, but just stating it's possible. similar like if u dash a red light, it doesn't mean 12pt, reckless driving or speeding might be added. that's usually how a newbie got his license revoked.

Unless someone can point to me some real evidence otherwise I don't believe that the court will make an exception to revoke just a particular class of license.

 

I have a few friends who were caught for drink driving, one was banned for 18 months, the other for 36 months because his car hit another vehicle. One has class 2A, 2B, 3 & 4, he has to re-take everything from scratch.

 

Recently, another friend was caught riding a 2A bike but he has only class 2B & 3 license. He was fined a total of $3000 after appeal and license suspended for 12 months.

 

When he asked the judge what she meant by "license suspended for 12 months", he was told to wait for 12 months then go TP to seek clarification . TP told him suspended for 12 months means license gantong, so have to retake class 2b, & 3
