kr fuel comsumtion go up..

when i juz bought the bike, my full tank can go till 250km... but now, 150 finish already... top up $5, go yishun from bedok finish already. this happen when my fren adjusted my timing and air tuning.. when reach 80kmh, the fuel supply like not enough like tat...the sound like different ah.. anyone can help??

how abt bringing it to a decent workshop to get it re-tuned?

what timing did yr friend adjust?

i brought it to many shops to re tune it.. but, still cant ah... like the consumption still remains high... is the consumption high bcoz of the re tuning??

Thats a possibility..Also your bike got do any performance enhancing mods that might make the fuel consumption more? Also how you ride also will affect the fuel consumption but not as bad as that I think..But seriously 150 is very very bad..

i got it!! to people who's fuel consumption go up suddenly, the answer is the valve of ur bike.. bcoz, if u tune here, tune there, the valve will jam.. wil make ur fuel consumption high.. very high.. so, if ur fuel consumption is damn hihg, try asking a workshop to change the valve....

mech ah... now my petrol can go around 220-230 full tank.. no reserve

do u mean service yr valve or changing the whole valve. it sounds to mi tat yr valve are jammed and needs servicing. changing the whole valve sounds overloaded to mi..

for ur info changin a new valve cost ard 80- 100 if i'm nt wrong ..
