So which is more economical?

Phantom 200,CBR 150,FXR 150,Varadero 125,or other.

Heard the Dero 125 can go 430km on a full tank.

phantom 200 should be the best interm of fuel cons.

dero 125???? i think it AT/vara 1000 uses aftermarket tank go thailand 43litres

Hi there, Chris

There I was waiting for your reply, but anyway it's OK, cause not many pple want CB1300, cause 1300cc for a road bike, why not get a sport bike.

Anyway, I got to carry on as long as possible, a friend of mine sold his CB1300,left around 02 years instalment. Got 10K cash back, and got himself a wave 125.

Think CB1300 private hard to get buyers, that's why only bike shop will take it,cause they got plenty of ways to sell the bike.

Anyway, thanks

Hi there! Im so sorry to interrupt this chat session. I plan to get a bike but I couldn't decide whether I should buy a second hand nsr150sp or a new cbr150r. Because I really like nsr sp very much but unfortunately new bikes are not on sale anymore. On the other hand, cbr150r looks funny for me...maybe because of it's "skinny" shape... :p

Any advise for me?

Well, I really want to say sorry first. I was just happened to read this interesting topic since cbr150r is a pretty new model. However, I have a few "stupid" quentions which are not related to cbr150, but I dont know whether I should post it under which topic. Well, Im not local. I have gotten my spore licence by the method of converting from my foreign licence. Im holding class 2b now and I plan to upgrade it to class 2a. Of course, I need to look for driving school to learn the practice ride first. So my quention is: where can i find driving sch/personal instructor? or should i go to the driving centre directly? how much the whole course cost(i mean the class 2a test) and how long will it take before i can register for the real test?

i hope u guys can help me out. thankssssssss!

hi, there's no personal instructors for riding in sg. So centres are the way you shd go.

Here's the website for the driving centres.

good luck.

i recently switch my kawa krr for the cbr150 .the main diff about this bike and the krr is the fuel consumption and of course the speed the krr is faster but between the two the cbr can corner better and you can also play gap better 2 the hidden pro about the cbr is the fairing is thin .if you buang the balancer and the rear views will protect the fairing unlike krr the fairing will go first and its cheaper to replace the balancer than a new spray work.my takes its on a budget, cbr money to burn,sp or krr

man i glad to hear from a former KRR rider that the cbr150 has great performance... (and performance dont always = to high top speed)

man i really like cbr150.. but sadly the bikes too small for me...but

with the new trends of honda making big lower CC bike (e.g vara125 and shadow 125) dont u wish they would make a cbr200 (that has the cool reliable features, color scheme, meters, and looks and everything of cbr150.. but with the size of cbr-400) man .. if they did that you have a damm reliable bike that not dangeriously powerful but with the look of a big bike..

man who would wanna change toa 400cc bike if they had that....

(unless your the type of person that feels 120km/h is not fast enoughthen my friend your in the wrong discussion..)

Honda is coming up with the CBR125. it will be made for the european market, not thai-made, so i expect it to be sized like the NSR125, ie, looking like a 2a bike, just like the vara125 and shadow125. and i suppose when it finally comes here it'll be expensive too.

anybody got links or pics for the CBR125? i been searching but i guess honda hasn released any info or pics on this bike yet. if anybody have pls lemme know thanx, i curious.

by the way, i found out apparently Europe also has a CBR250. i never knew of such a bike. its old and resembles the CBR400RR in looks.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

thinks he's comparing it to a nsr ps. if tahts the case its big. compared to the cbr150, its very big. compared to a 400. its a bit smaller. compared to a pgm3/4. about the same size... so.... it looks like a 2a lor..

I LOVE u RS. Please dont breakdown. I\'m BROKE!!!

all the made-for-europe 125cc bikes by honda, like the NSR125, Varadero125 and Shadow VT125, you can either say they look like big 2b bikes or small 2a bikes. place the NSR125 side-by-side with NSR150SP, CBR150R, ZX150KRR, there is no way i would say the NSR125 is same sized as the rest. i'd say the NSR125 is same sized as the RS125/250. but place it beside the ZX4 or gsx400, then yes i have to admit it is smaller. so i expect the CBR125 might be same sized as NSR125, ie, a big 2b bike.

The reason why most e lower CC bikes thats targeted for the European mkt (e.g vara125 and shadow 125) is capped at the max of 125cc is bec 125cc is the max limit a DRIVER can ride a motorbike w/o the need to take a class 2. The bikes are mainly targeted at this pool of people.

For phantom or CBR, the target is 4 cost concious customers who wants the most of what their salary can afford. U cant have it cheap n yet look really good....

How do those european countries certify that these drivers are able to ride a bike safely with the right technique?

is it? what i rad is that vara125 and shadow 125 was designed for the LEARNER market, as the Cap in Not on the CC but HP which is 15HP.
